The Difference II

Heb.12:22&24 (NIV) “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem… to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”

By Covenant

Deut.15:4 & 11 “There should be no poor among you, for the Lord your God will greatly bless you in the land he is giving you as a special possession…  There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor…”

There is a huge difference between the kingdom and the democracy. The kingdom is ruled by a king, the democracy is governed by an elected president or prime minister. Read the rest of this entry

The Promise

Gal.3:17 “This is what I am trying to say: The agreement God made with Abraham could not be cancelled 430 years later when God gave the law to Moses. God would be breaking his promise.”

The Old Covenant that expired at The Cross of Calvary was The Mosaic Covenant, not the Abrahamic Covenant. We need to get this because a lot of well-meaning Christians miss it. Read the rest of this entry
