The Apparatus
Phil.4:19 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus”
God says, “Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you” [Isa.60:1]. When does light shine brightest? It is in darkness and you need to embrace this. Yesterday, we explained that God does not check the exchange rate to bless His children. And it is because the blessings of the Lord are from His own store houses and not from the Federal reserve. Some people may say to you to face reality but the reality is that they that know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploits.
Joy causes a release of the supernatural in your favour. Joy is like a conduit; it is a carrier of the supernatural. It is almost impossible to walk in the supernatural and be in Read the rest of this entry
Vision
Ruth 1:16 “But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”
Our next lesson is from the life of Ruth. Ruth moved forward after she encountered God. Scripture introduces Ruth as a single woman, though she had been married but was now widowed and single again. As if that was not enough, this same Ruth was in the company of bitterness. Imagine someone trusting God for a life partner or someone waiting on God for anything, hanging around bitter people. The company of bitterness has a way of amplifying an already bad situation. But God came through for her.
No Alternative
Luke 18:1 “One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up”
I have a message for someone reading this today, the good news that God is driving away from your territory that which has been eating your harvest. I pray that you receive this good news and thank God for it.
When I got saved over two decades ago, I was convinced that there must be an alternative to prayer. And it was because of how difficult I felt prayer was. My thoughts were, “if it is this hard, there has to be an alternative”. So I began to research; a personal quest Read the rest of this entry
The Rock
1Jn.1:8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
I can tell you for a fact that there is no demonic oppression in the covenant of Abraham because I checked it through and through. The covenant does not include curses. In fact it states that anyone that curses you is cursed. There is no sickness in the covenant. Instead it states that “You will serve the Lord, your God, and He will bless your bread and your water and He will not put any of these diseases upon you” [Ex.23:25]. I checked and there is no stagnation. It says, Isaac grew until he became exceedingly great [Gen.26:12-13].
The Four [R’s]
Gen.22: 17 “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed…”
There are four “R’s” to recovery. Number one, recognize. Recognize that there is a problem. We have been asking God to open our eyes to see as we ought to see. God will bring things to your memory. Number two, repent. Number three, renounce. And number four, resist – then you will recover. Even if it was your grandfather that broke a covenant, you need to repent. Derek Prince puts it perfectly, “You are not guilty of your ancestors’ sins but you are affected by them.” So you repent on their behalf because of yourself. Read the rest of this entry
Sovereign Lord
Isa.49:25 “But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children” [KJV].
People knowingly and unknowingly, enter into covenants with the devil. That is why you need to be aware of it, check if it exists, and engage God to destroy it. I am not saying we should do away with culture or cultural festivals; but some of those festivals are covenants in themselves. There is a thin line between just celebrating culture and entering into the spiritual and the fetish. Some celebrations entail swimming in a river, they are covenanting you with water spirits. I pray that God will Himself, submerge everyone that has Read the rest of this entry
Foundation Matters
Ps.105: 7 “He is the Lord our God. His justice is seen throughout the land. 8 He always stands by his covenant— the commitment he made to a thousand generations”.
God honors covenants between men. If the foundation is faulty, you have to fix it! There are businesses that are on faulty foundations because covenants have been broken. There are people whose fathers and grandfathers agreed to take care of their relatives. And the relatives also agreed that they would be dependent on that family. So that family has been prospering and the other family has been dependent on them. But the children are now looking at their relatives as parasites and are cutting them off. That move will affect Read the rest of this entry
Step Back
Josh.9:14 “So the Israelites examined their food, but they did not consult the Lord. 15 Then Joshua made a peace treaty with them and guaranteed their safety, and the leaders of the community ratified their agreement with a binding oath”
When Joshua realized that they had been tricked by the Gibeonites, he forced them to become slaves but they did not put up any fight because it was better than death. But years later, Saul decided to get rid of the Gibeonites, then 2 Sam.21:1 says: There was a famine during David’s reign that lasted for three years, so David asked the Lord about it. And the Lord said, “The famine has come because Saul and his family are guilty of murdering the Gibeonites.” [emphasis added]. Every time you are experiencing a famine, Read the rest of this entry
Inquire First!
Josh.9:14 “So the Israelites examined their food, but they did not consult the Lord. 15 Then Joshua made a peace treaty with them and guaranteed their safety, and the leaders of the community ratified their agreement with a binding oath” [emphasis added].
When blessing Abraham, the Bible says God swore by Himself. Swearing has to be by a greater authority. But because there was none greater, God said, “In blessing, Abraham, I will bless you”. Erroneously, when God asks something of us, we think that God wants to take something from us. But when God asks something from us, He does not want to take from; He wants to get something to us. When God asks for something from you, He is not interested in what He can take from you. He is thinking of what He can get to you. Read the rest of this entry
