Freed

Rom. 3:23-24 “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” (emphasis added).

Being a Christian is summed up in one word and that word is “Done”. It is because of what Christ has done that we can do what He has called us to do! We stand tall not on the authority of our dos [prayers, giving, serving], but on the authority of the complete work of Jesus on the cross of Cavalry. Read the rest of this entry

Freedom

1 Cor.7:22-23 “And remember, if you were a slave when the Lord called you, you are now free in the Lord. And if you were free when the Lord called you, you are now a slave of Christ. God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world.”
