Take Note II
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” Rev.3:21[KJV]
Take note, it is God that will give you victory! [Deu.20:4] . Another thing you should take note of is this; in the Book of Revelations Jesus kept saying, “to him that overcometh I will give…” [cf.: Rev. 2:7, 17& 26; 3:21]. It is a recurrent theme in the Book of Revelations. If Jesus says there is a reward for those that overcome, it means that there is something to overcome. If there is going to be victory, it means there is going to be battle. But the assurance we have Read the rest of this entry
Think & Thank
“Seven times every day I praise You because of Your right rulings. Those who love Your law have an abundance of peace, and nothing along their paths can cause them to stumble” Ps. 119:164-165 [Voice]
God’s instruction for us in this season is Re-Tune. We have seen some of the things that detune us. And we have learnt that the desired frequency, the pitch perfect tune is joy. This joy comes with righteousness and peace. So how do those of us that are out of tune re-tune? And how do those of us that Read the rest of this entry
For Love
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16
The most popular scripture in the Bible is, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 [emphasis added]. What actually motivated God to give Jesus to us was love. Jesus said, “For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost” Luke 19:10 [emphasis added]. Please Read the rest of this entry
Heart Affairs IV
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” John 4:23 [emphasis added]
Worship actually starts with what you cannot bring to God. Our hearts are ushered into true worship with the honest confession that we are empty. We cannot begin to enter and access true worship if we do not get to that honest confession that we are actually empty and there is nothing we can really bring to God. Worship does not start with what you can bring, it actually starts with what you cannot Read the rest of this entry
Count The Cost!
“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart” Col.4:2
“When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him. It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it. Don’t let your mouth make you sin. And don’t defend yourself by telling the Temple messenger that the promise you made was a mistake. That would make God angry, and he might wipe out everything you have achieved. Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. Fear God instead” Ecc.5:4-7.
Crowned With Goodness
“Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Luke 17:17-18.
God will wrap this year up for you with goodness in Jesus Name. How should you respond to God’s goodness? Start by thanking God and thank Him profusely. After you have given thanks, let this newly established appreciation of God’s goodness draw you closer to God. Then you respond even further by increasing our goodness to Read the rest of this entry
Taste Berry!
“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Rom.2:4 [NKJV]
Gratitude they say is like a taste berry. A taste berry is something that once you put it in your mouth every other thing you eat afterwards is made sweet, even the bitter things become sweet. Thanksgiving is life’s taste berry; it makes every other thing that comes afterwards sweet. Start your day with thanksgiving and let it set the tone for your day. Read the rest of this entry
Give Thanks!
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Ps.136:1 [emphasis added].
Many times we do not stop to say thank you profusely enough at God’s goodness. Let your thanksgiving be commensurate to how much you desired the breakthrough. If the breakthrough requires you to fast and pray, maybe the testimony should require you to dance and rejoice. Dance before God. Rejoice before your Maker. Give thanks to the God that has spared you and kept you in spite of the pain. With all that we are if we are anything at Read the rest of this entry
A Crown
“You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance” Ps.65:11
I am declaring over you today that God will crown this year with His goodness for you in Jesus Name. What does it mean to crown? A crown signifies three things; first thing is a crown dignifies, adorns, and it honors. A crown on your head is a sign of dignity and honor, it adorns you. I am praying in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that before this year runs out, you will be dignified, you will be adorned, and you will be honored. God will crown this year with His goodness for Read the rest of this entry
Is That All?
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he good! His faithful love endures for ever” Ps.136:1
It is only the living that can complain but guess what it is also only the living that can give thanks to God. Which would it be for you? Regardless of what you are going through, the fact that you are alive shows that God is not done with you yet and this is reason enough to give thanks. Many times we do not give the thanksgiving that is commensurate to our breakthrough, or even commensurate to our request for the breakthrough. We pray and wait on God for something Read the rest of this entry
