God speaks to us through expressions of the Holy Spirit. The second expression of the Holy Spirit that we will be looking at is Visions. Channel #7: God speaks through Expressions of the Holy Spirit. God speaks to us through expressions of the Holy Spirit. And this is the one channel. Job 34:29 [MSG] “If God is silent, what’s that to you? If He turns His face away, what can you do about it? But whether silent or hidden, He’s there, ruling,”
It can be really uncomfortable when God is silent. However, it is important that we examine our own lives to ensure we have not done anything that offends Him [Ps.139.24]. Caution!
Ps.139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life”
God speaks through Silence. Sometimes, God’s silence means He is waiting for you to choose but at other times, it could mean that God is upset. Sometimes, when God is upset He keeps quiet. Channel #6: God speaks through Silence: When God is silent it can be really uncomfortable. I went through a season in my life that was as if God kept quiet. I almost went berserk. Channel #5: God speaks to us through Pain. Sometimes, in order to get peoples attention and to get them to slow down and seek Him, God has to resort to letting them go through pain. His Channels III
Rom.1:20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God [with emphasis].
So far we have examined three channels God uses to speak to us. If you are not reading your Bible consistently, if you are not listening to messages over and over again, and if you are not accountable to other believers, you do not have believers that are speaking into your life, you have already missed three main channels God speaks through.
