The Secret I

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.  We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed” 2 Cor. 4:8-9 [emphasis added].

You will discover that as your life progresses, you are going to meet challenges. Life sometimes throws us curved balls and we get discouraged easily. However, how to think clearly when these challenges or problems come, is what we must tackle in this season. If there is one man in the New Testament that had a lot challenges in his life, it was Apostle Paul. And he says, “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.  We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed” 2 Cor. 4:8-9 [emphasis added]. Of Christ

“For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts?
Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ 1Cor.2:16 [emphasis added]

Your mind is an amazing creation of God. It handles billions of bits of information. It can process eight hundred memories per second for years and never get tired. No computer will ever compare with the computing power of the brain. And the Bible says as a man thinks in his heart so is he. You are what you think. More than anything else what determines your life are your thoughts; not your background, not your genes, and not your Read the rest of this entry

Much More

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” Eph.3:20 [emphasis added]

God does not just want us to have life; God wants us to have life abundantly. Abundance or when something is in abundance simply means more than enough, or beyond what is required. Imagine you are asking God for two units and He gives you two thousand units. There is only one word for that and it is abundance. Imagine you are trusting God for a promotion at work and He gives you a triple promotion. The only word Read the rest of this entry

Death To Life VIII

“Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.’” Eze.37:9

You will move from death to life in Jesus Name. There are two distinct prophecies that God told Ezekiel to do; the first one is to the bones- prophecy to the bones son of man. We have been doing that and we will continue to prophesy to the physical things that they will leave. The second one is prophesy to the winds and cause the winds to come and breathe. Death To Life I

“Son of man, these bones are the entire community of Israel. They keep saying, “Our bones are dry now, picked clean by scavengers. All hope is gone. Our nation is lost.” Eze.37:11 [Voice, emphasis added]

Many times, we find ourselves in situations that can best be described as a dry bone situation. Some of us are far gone in that spectrum as it were. The situation is dry, dead, forgotten, and scattered. On the other side is the situation that is filled with life and abundance. And everyone is somewhere on this spectrum. That situation you are faced Read the rest of this entry

Life Lessons

“Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you.  They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’” Lu.14:29-30

Yesterday, we learnt that the Pyrrhic victory is a victory that inflicts such a devastating blow on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat. Some victories deal more devastating blows to the victors. So the question is, is that argument really important? Is it more important for you to win the argument and lose your spouse? Is it worth it to get that money and lose the trust of Read the rest of this entry

Plan For It I

“Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit” 3Jn.1:2

To be successful in security, you must understand that victory and defeat are always possible. God’s Word tells us that we are seated with Jesus in heavenly places but because of that we think defeat is not possible. Defeat is possible on this earth if you take things for granted. It is my prayer that you will not be defeated, in Jesus Name. Always know that victory is possible and so is defeat.

Need To Know II

“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me… Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely” Ps.139:1& 4 [NIV]

You have to consistently check the people around you because people change; some actually get better while some get worse. Have you ever heard the story of Lagos? There are different versions of the story of Lagos but I will tell you the version an Oba [king] told me. The Oba of Lagos had always been prosperous. He had many wives but out of the many wives, one was special. The Oba of Benin on the Read the rest of this entry

Guarantee

“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11.

“…Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?” Luke 24:5. Not Mary, not Peter, not even John the beloved, nobody gave Jesus a chance. They did not believe that He would be raised from the dead. However, the beauty of this is, God does not need Peter’s permission to raise Jesus from the dead. God does not need Mary’s faith to raise Jesus form the dead. God does not need the willingness of the Pharisees to raise Jesus Read the rest of this entry

You cannot ignore certain principles that existed before the Law. The Principle of Tithing is one of such; it existed before the Law. It existed in Eden. The Principle of First-fruit is another one; Cain and Abel [Read Genesis 4]. The Principle of His Presence – some people think they do not need to pray because they are Christians. The Principle of His Presence is in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. God will Read the rest of this entry
