Let Peace Rule!

Colossians 3:15 “And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state]…” (AMPC, emphasis added).

Imagine your mind is a soccer game and the peace of God is the umpire (referee). There are certain things that are not offside, but the peace of God will rule them as offside. Why? It is because it is ruling in your favour, Read the rest of this entry

Request & Fix

Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace ALL who trust in you, ALL whose thoughts are fixed on you!” (emphasis added).

If you want God’s peace in your life, then you need to request for God’s peace. The truth is we do not pray for God’s peace enough. Read the rest of this entry

Peace

Isaiah 54:10 “The mountains may disappear, and the hills may come to an end, but my love will never disappear; my promise of peace will not come to an end,” says the LORD…” (NCV)

God’s heart for us in every season is that we pitch our tent not on experiences, but on the Word of God who is Christ, the Word in flesh. And the Word for us over the next few days, words to live by is Peace. Read the rest of this entry

On Mission

Romans 8:19 “For all of creation is waiting, yearning for the time when the children of God will be revealed.” (The Voice)

Four things that can help us get purpose and direction for our lives between when we became alive in Christ, and when we will be one with Him physically in heaven. The first is Reveal Jesus.

Godly Mind

Romans 12:2 “Do not allow this world to mould you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.” (Voice)

Sometimes, when we think about God transforming us, we imagine that thunder will strike from heaven and the whole earth will shake. But the Bible says God transforms us by changing the way we think. It is the small things that nobody sees that bring about the big things that everybody wants. Read the rest of this entry

The Core

Mark 11:9 “Jesus was in the centre of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Here is the truth, you are going to centre your life around something. The question is, what is it going to be? Is it going to be your job or money, or is it going to be your children? Do you really want your life to be centred around your job, money, and your children? Some people want to be famous. Read the rest of this entry

Refocus

Matthew 6:34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

If the future is inevitable, there is no need to sweat over it. There is no need to worry, just plan and trust God. And guess what? One thing is certain from the time man began to exist on earth till now, and that is death. Every human being will die except raptured by Christ. Read the rest of this entry

Perfect Peace

1 Peter 5:7 “Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.” (LB).

The Word of God says, give all your worries to God. Take your worry list to God. When you are worried, do not repress it, do not suppress it, just express it to God. Philippians 4:6-7Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” (LB). Read the rest of this entry

Action!

1 Chronicles 28:20 “Then he continued, “Be strong and courageous and get to work. Don’t be frightened by the size of the task, for the Lord my God is with you; he will not forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly.” (LB, emphasis added).

Today’s anchor scripture is David’s advice to his son Solomon, and it is God’s Word to us today. Be strong and courageous and get work, do not be frightened by the size of the task. I have had people say to me that it is as if I am not afraid of anything. Some ask, do you even know what it is to be afraid? Read the rest of this entry

His Fruit

John 14:27 (TPT) “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!

God wants you and I to be peaceful; lasting peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, God’s gift to us. You may be experiencing intense pressure, but you remain peaceful in your core and the people around you are puzzled. By the grace of God, there is nothing that keeps me up at night, nothing!
