Psalm 27:14 (TPT) “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!
Daniel could remain in the place of prayer and not get discouraged because he understood how the spiritual works. Sometimes you do not need to know what is going on, you just know how it works and, Read the rest of this entry
Stay There!
Dan.10:12-13 “…Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way.”
Matt.6:8 (KJV) “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” This is another scripture that a lot of people struggle with when it comes to persistent prayer. Read the rest of this entry
Citizenship
Isa.62:6 “O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. 7 Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.”
The widow kept asking not because the judge had not heard, but because the judge had not acted. We keep coming to God not because He has not heard, Read the rest of this entry
Keep Asking
Gen.32:28 (KJV) “And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.”

Genesis
Luke 1:32 “He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.”
Our lesson on going forward today, is from the life of David. David was completely forgotten by his own family. Imagine, God sends a prophet to change the destiny of the family and David’s father does not even remember he has a son called David. It must have been a horrible experience living in that kind of household. When the state had need for soldiers, David’s brothers qualified. This means Jesse invested in their training but not in David. Instead, he was sent to look after sheep and forgotten.
Persistent Obedience
Gen.26:12 “When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him.”
Our lesson today is from the life of Isaac. It is easy to look at our scripture reference today and claim the promise for yourself. But I do not think God wants us to ignore the verses that follow [please read Gen.26:12-25] because they teach us a very important lesson when it comes to going forward. It is a lesson in persistence. Isaac was persistent. God had just changed Isaac’s destiny but with his growth and multiplication, came fierce opposition.
