The Wind

“The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord…” Eze.37:1

Yesterday we put to rest the false thinking that the problem is the problem. The problem is not the problem. The problem is your capacity. So I pray again, that the God of heaven will increase your capacity on all fronts, in Jesus Name. So stop blaming the adversity and start building your strength. Start building your strength spiritually. Spiritual exercises [fasting, prayer, vigils] are strength builders. However, when it comes to the supernatural, while you must play your part, your strength will not be enough. Stay with me; we are taking this to another level.

Every Time

The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:31 [emphasis added].

God wants you to help the people in your relationships become all that they can be. So stop pulling them down. Stop it, because that is the crab mentality. Do not be a crab! They say you can put ten crabs in a basket and not have to worry about covering the basket. And the reason is when one crab tries to climb up and escape, the other crabs pull it down. And no crab escapes or is ever able to climb up successfully because the others keep pulling it down. You need Read the rest of this entry

Invaluable Lessons

“The wise store up treasure and oil, but fools spend whatever they get” Prov.21:20

Great leaders know how to look at an opportunity and immediately determine whether they are going to take it or not. Why? Critical resources are scarce. You do not have all the resources to take all the opportunities. So if you take one opportunity you are going to miss another. The first principle of economics is that critical resources are scarce. Time is scarce. No matter how Read the rest of this entry

Your Job

“But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?” Lu.14:28

It is clear that God’s heart for us this year and beyond is victory and so shall it be, in Jesus Name. Why do we keep reiterating this? It is because you and I must let it sink deep down in our souls that God will give us victory. But you must take responsibility as the general of your life. You [not the nation, or the government, or the Politicians] are the general of your life. The Read the rest of this entry

How It Works

“I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work” Jn.9:4

I need you to sit with yourself and come up with a ‘completely true to self’ answer to this question: what exactly are you waiting for? You have been engaged to that lady for so long, what are you waiting for? Get married! Some men will tell you they want to build a mansion first or at least have two cars. You have laid out the business plan and gone over it several Read the rest of this entry

His Command

“‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’ Luke 19:17

What instruction has God given you that is outstanding? Who do you need to forgive but you have not moved in that direction? What has God told you to give but you are still holding unto? Perhaps God is telling you to give your car to a lady in church. Give her the car. For some of us it is repentance. What do you need to Read the rest of this entry

Take Responsibility

“On the third day of the fast, Esther put on her royal robes and entered the inner court of the palace, just across from the king’s hall… When he saw Queen Esther… he welcomed her and held out the gold scepter to her. So Esther approached…” Est.5:1-2

Instead of making excuses, choose to make progress. You cannot make both at the same time. Your oven cannot bake excuses and bake progress at the same time. Choose one- excuses or progress, what will it be? A great war general, George Washington said, “ninety-nine percent of failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.” In any organization, ninety-nine percent of failures come from people that make excuses. Some even have research data to back up why they failed. Check your business and even your home; the children that make the most excuses Read the rest of this entry

Error To Avoid!

“When they returned, they told Joshua, “There’s no need for all of us to go up there; it won’t take more than two or three thousand men to attack Ai. Since there are so few of them, don’t make all our people struggle to go up there” Josh.7:3

You are a leader and you are responsible! You may delegate tasks but ultimately what happens based on the feedback you get is your call. Once the spies have submitted their report, their job is done. Then it is the leader’s call to determine what happens next. Unfortunately, a lot of the spies are like Ahithophel. Ahithophel was a fantastic counselor. The Bible says that when he spoke it was like God had spoken. He was David’s counselor initially but then became Absalom’s counselor.

Your Duty

“Joshua sent some of his men from Jericho to spy out the town of Ai, east of Bethel, near Beth-aven. When they returned, they told Joshua, “There’s no need for all of us to go up there… Since there are so few of them” Josh.7:2-3

Take The Stand I

And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh…Ex.8:20.

I like using my work out time to listen to a variety of podcasts. I was listening to Dave Ramsey’s podcast and two people called in. The first person, a gentleman said his wife was a spend drift. He wants to take charge of their finances but all she loves to do is shop. Personally, I would say there is nothing wrong with shopping but you have to take charge of your financial future. The gentleman said they separated at some point because of it but because he loves her so much, he went Read the rest of this entry
