Having Done All…

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to standEph.6:13 [emphasis added]

God wants you to Stand Tall in your industry because you are a representative of the kingdom in that industry. Secondly, God wants you to Stand Tall in your country and be the solution. The third area where God wants us to Stand Tall is in our personal lives. The reason folks are not able to Stand Tall in their industry or country is because they are bent over in their lives. God wants you to Stand Tall in your life. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to standEph.6:13 [emphasis added]. What Will It Be?

When Elisha was in his last illness, King Jehoash of Israel visited him and wept over him. “My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” he cried2kings 13:14.

The pain of every leader is to look back and not find anyone following. The pain of every leader is to look back and not find anyone willing to pay the price necessary for leadership. This was a pain that Elisha was familiar with. He looked back at his life and the only son of the prophet that came close was Gehazi. Gehazi had the opportunity to collect a double Read the rest of this entry

Take Responsibility

Train up your child in the way he should go: and when he old, he will not depart from it” Prov.22:6 [KJV, emphasis added]

Your children are smarter than you think. It is unwise to over protect them or shield them from pain. Think about your own life and growing up. Did you become who you are today because your parents shielded you from pain? Absolutely not, but by interacting with pain, you learnt to rise above it. Parents today are shielding their Read the rest of this entry

The Difference

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” Prov. 11: 25 [KJV]

Yesterday we talked about the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea. The former is characteristic of a giver and the later is characteristic of a taker. You need to ask yourself the hard question and answer it truthfully, “Am I a Taker or am I a Giver?” “Am I the Sea of Galilee in my relationships or am I the Dead Sea in my marriage?” Taking is different from receiving. We all must examine ourselves and honestly answer these Read the rest of this entry

How To… I

“So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world” Col.3:5.

Paul says to us to gain victory over the enemy you must do three things. The first thing you do is Put to death; the second thing you do is Put off; then the third thing you do you is Put on. The King James translation for Colossians 3:5 reads, “ Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth…”. Read the rest of this entry

Am I?

“But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God” Luke 9:62

In scripture, Jesus said some really hard things unapologetically. “But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God” Luke 9:62. That is really hard to say to someone who has pledged to follow you. The man was just asking for permission to say farewell to his Read the rest of this entry

Responsibility Of Favour III

“The angel said, ‘Look up, and you will see that only the streaked, speckled, and spotted males are mating with the females of your flock. For I have seen how Laban has treated you” Gen.31:12

Access to the supernatural is so important. I can give you several examples of how access to the supernatural made the difference between where I was and my next level. I prophesy to you today that you will not go through this life blind but you will see as you ought to see and you will hear, as you ought to hear in Jesus Name.

Responsibility Of Favour II

“So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “You’re the man for us. God has given you the inside story—no one is as qualified as you in experience and wisdom. From now on, you’re in charge of my affairs; all my people will report to you. Only as king will I be over you.” Gen.41:39-40 [MSG]

To whom much is given, much is expected. I have seen Christians even Pastors doing so many things and getting away with it. Things I know I cannot try because my Father will seriously chastise me. When I was young I struggled seriously with this and would give God examples of all the people who are doing the same thing I was Read the rest of this entry

Responsibility Of Favour I

“But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much ill be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required” Luke 12:48

Many times we attribute a lot to ourselves that we have no business attributing. You are the apple of God’s eye, how He regards and responds to the apple of His eye has nothing to do with whether you prayed for two hours or didn’t do your quiet time. Again, do not get me wrong, we should pray and pray we must. Devout yourself to Read the rest of this entry

Even You!

“What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied’ 2 kings 4:2

The fourth thing you must remember even as this year progresses is the oil principle. The oil principle simply states that everybody has oil. No one is born empty. The Bible says that a widow of one of the members of the prophets came crying to Elisha for help. Her husband had passed on and left her and her two sons in debt. And a creditor had come threatening to take her sons as slaves. [Please read 2 kings 4:1-7]. You would expect that Elisha will just give her some cash but instead Elisha asked her Read the rest of this entry
