1 Kings 3:9 “Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”
Most times when we read about Solomon in 1 Kings 3:4-15, we are impressed with his wisdom in asking for wisdom. But the reality is that Solomon actually was admitting to God that he was not very smart. Read the rest of this entry
Humility 101
Luke 11:9 “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Yesterday, we concluded by saying that when Jesus says, ask – seek – knock, He is saying ask! Looking at it from the insight that D. L. Moody brings to the table, three things immediately stand out. The Bible says, “everyone who asks, receives, everyone who seeks, finds, and to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened”. These are the words of Jesus Himself, your case will not be different. Read the rest of this entry
For Him
