Knowing & Understanding

Isa.53:4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. 5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

I pray that the whipping that Jesus took on the cross will not be in vain in your life. I also pray that the turmoil and storms in your life will be still. Read the rest of this entry

The Fifth SELF

Lu.9:23 “Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”

We need to take Self-righteousness, Self-confidence, Self-deception and Self-centeredness to The Cross daily and nail it to The Cross. In our marriages, if we successfully arrest and nail self to The Cross, our marriages will be so sweet. Read the rest of this entry

The Third & Fourth SELF

Rom.5:6 “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.”

The third thing that needs to be nailed to The Cross is Self-deception. We are masters at deceiving ourselves. In fact people actually begin to believe the lies they are telling. God wants you to stop deceiving yourself because self-deception cannot take you far. Read the rest of this entry

The Second SELF

Eph.2:5 That even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)” [with emphasis]

Jesus gave us life and the life is consistent. We need Him every hour, we need Him every day, and we need Him every second. We did not need Him just when we got saved; we need Him now as much as when we came to Christ, if not more. Read the rest of this entry

The First SELF

Eph.2:5That even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)” [with emphasis]

The first “self” that you and I need to take to The Cross so that the power of resurrection can flow through us, is Self-righteousness. One reason we do not experience the fullness of Christ is that we think we are not so bad. Read the rest of this entry

“SELF”

Matt.26:39  (VOICE) “He walked a little farther and finally fell prostrate and prayed. Jesus: Father, this is the last thing I want. If there is any way, please take this bitter cup from Me. Not My will, but Yours be done” [with emphasis]

Every teacher understands the power of enumeration. In fact, enumeration is one of the keys to illumination. Illustration is another key to illumination. Enumeration is a key to illumination. In other words, when you enumerate, you illuminate. Read the rest of this entry

Daily!

Lu.9:23 (KJV) “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” [with emphasis].

What then is this cross that Jesus is speaking to us about? A lot of the things we are calling our cross are the things that The Cross of Jesus came to sort out. Those things are not your cross. Read the rest of this entry

The Key

Isa. 53:“But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

You will nail every sickness that is still lingering in your body to The Cross of Jesus, in this season, in Jesus Name. Isa.53:6All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.Read the rest of this entry

The Cross

Isa. 53: “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

One of the most misunderstood things in our faith is The Cross. Yet The Cross is one of the most crucial things to our faith. What does The Cross mean to us? Culture has changed how we view and relate with The Cross. Read the rest of this entry

Voice Trigger

Num.24:9 “Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you.” [with emphasis]

“Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her?” What this Scripture means is that there will be consequences for anyone that tries you. Beginning from today, anybody that tries you will face the full consequences. Read the rest of this entry
