Humility 101
Luke 11:9 “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Yesterday, we concluded by saying that when Jesus says, ask – seek – knock, He is saying ask! Looking at it from the insight that D. L. Moody brings to the table, three things immediately stand out. Ask, Seek, Knock
Luke 11:9 “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
The Bible says, “everyone who asks, receives, everyone who seeks, finds, and to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened”. These are the words of Jesus Himself, your case will not be different. Read the rest of this entry
For Him

There are implications when God says, “ask of Me”, the implication is focus, change your focus [Jer.17:5-8 please read]. Ask of Me means look at me, keep your eyes on Me. Ask of me means you have to be humble because asking puts you in a place of humility. Read the rest of this entry

Ex.33:14 “The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” 15 Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. 16 How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me…”
What do you really want out of your walk with God – results or relationship, His hand or His face? It will shock you but the reason some people do not want to have a relationship with God is because they do not want responsibilities. Read the rest of this entry
Holy Place Not Hospital
Matt.6:33 (GNT) “Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things.”
God is not a vending machine. God cannot be used. God is God all by Himself. We have to realize that even though He has made provisions for us to ask, it is important for us to understand how to operate it. Read the rest of this entry
Harmonize
Rom.8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 …for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.”
When God says ask, He does not place a limit on us. Do you know why God does not put a limit on us? It is because there is no limit in God. So, do yourself a favour and take the limits off. Read the rest of this entry
