Take The Stand I
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” 1Jn.4:18 [NIV, emphasis added]
There can be no transformation without confrontation. I know we all have different personalities but have you noticed that some people like working hard and some do not.? Some students like reading their books but some students do not. Does that change the fact that they are all going to take the same exams? Life does not differentiate. You need to learn the
life skills you need regardless of your personality and Stand Tall.
Take The Stand I
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh…” Ex.8:20.
I like using my work out time to listen to a variety of podcasts. I was listening to Dave Ramsey’s podcast and two people called in. The first person, a gentleman said his wife was a spend drift. He wants to take charge of their finances but all she loves to do is shop. Personally, I would say there is nothing wrong with shopping but you have to take charge of your financial future. Confront It!
“You are the light of the world…” Matt.5:14 [emphasis added]
Jesus was walking on the streets of Nazareth he was not a threat to anybody as long as he was baring Jesus the son of the carpenter. The day he said “I am the Christ, Jesus Christ”, they said they will kill him. Why? It is because your name triggers your destiny. Be You
“You are the light of the world…” Matt.5:14 [emphasis added]
God has created you an original. The reason people are afraid of being authentic is because they see themselves as inferior [lower quality]. They do not believe that they are in the image of God or that there is something in them that the world needs so inferiority complex creeps in. But the truth is God has made us all unique. Audience Of One

The key to being totally free from people pleasing is in understanding that the only person you are capable of totally pleasing is God. You are not capable of pleasing any human being. Free From Fear
“Sanctify the Lord of hosts Himself; and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread” Isa.8:13 .
For you to fulfill your destiny, you will have to do some things regardless of the fear you feel. Being fearless is not the “absence of fear” but the absence of “the fear” of fear. In life, you will have to do many things scared but do not be afraid of fear. A lot of things I have done, I have done afraid but not afraid of fear. One night I was driving back from a prayer meeting with my wife and friends in the car, just having fun. And I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, keep quiet. The conversation continued but I kept quiet. Inspite Of Fear
“Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes” Prov. 3:25.
For you to fulfill your destiny, you will have to do some things regardless of the fear you feel. Long ago, a friend of mine was consistently failing her final professional exams. What was the problem? She studies hard for her exam but she said that every time she gets afraid, she knows she is going to fail the exam. And that is exactly how it plays out. I told her the Bible says that you have to face the fear and inspite of the fear pass the exams. Fearless
“Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day” Ps.91:5
Fear is not a respecter of seasons. You may be in the season of day [day here means bloom], and the enemy will still try to fire arrows at you. But God is saying to you today, do not be afraid of the arrows that fly in the day. You may be in your night season [night here means gloom], laden with challenges you need to solve. Fear Not!
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house” Matt.5:14-15 [emphasis added]
A lamp is placed on a stand; every lamp has a stand. You are the light of the world, so for you to be effective and fulfill your ministry you need to be on your stand. I pray for everyone whose light has been hidden under a basket, your light will be placed on your stand in Jesus Name. I pray for everyone whose light is on a stand but is shaking [it is being
threatened with displacement]. I pray that God will silence every force that is threatening your placement in Jesus Name.
