God Is I AM!

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me’ Ps.23:4.

The only key to the storms of our lives is securing the Presence of God. To still the storms you are faced with, you have so secure His Presence. In spite of the storm, His presence guarantees safety and deliverance. Safety, they say, is not in the absence of danger; safety is in the Presence of the Lord. Once you can secure His Presence, you will triumph over the storms of life. When you secure God’s presence in the storm, the first storm that God stills is your internal storm. For many of us, the first storm that God needs to still in our lives is the internal storm that we are experiencing. The storm of Read the rest of this entry

For Your Good

‘And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them’ Rom.8:28

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way’ Matt.13:25. The second source of the storms is the enemy. Sometimes it is not about you or what you have done, the storm you are going through is as a result of what the enemy has done. The man in today’s Scripture reference sowed good seed in his land but the enemy came and sowed tares. For some people the storms they are facing are spiritual storms. Some people are under intense attack. The good news for you today is Jesus will deal with every storm that is raging against you. If you were to Read the rest of this entry

With You Always

As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” So they took Jesus in the boat and started out, leaving the crowds behind… Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion…’ Mark4:35-38.

Many of us today are in the same position the disciples found themselves in today’s scripture reference. We know we are walking with Jesus, we are His sheep and we hear His voice. We have obediently followed His instructions to cross over to the other side but here we are in the eye of the storm as it were. The first thing you need to know is that even when God is for you, you will still experience storms. And like the disciples, we sometimes are perplexed that if Jesus is in this boat Read the rest of this entry

God First!

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need’ Matt.6:33

This is God’s Word for you today. ‘…Don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need’ Matt.6:31-33. The key to having everything you need is making God priority. God is saying don’t become consumed with Read the rest of this entry

Do It Daily

‘And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O Lord, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God’ Deut.26:10 [KJV]

The fifth thing you have to reinforce or learn these last few days of the year and put before you in the coming year is make God priority. You must make God priority daily. Everyone that will have a significant walk with God, that will walk in unprecedented prosperity, and favour must understand the place of prioritizing God. It is called the principle of first fruits. If you check from Genesis to Revelations, God demonstrates this principle in different scenarios but it is the same principle. The God first principle! Who taught Abel to bring the first fruit of his flock to God? Something on the inside of Read the rest of this entry

Limits Off

The lazy person claims, “There’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!”Prov.22:13.

Let it be foremost in your mind that God will bless only the works of your hands. A lot of people allow laziness cut them off from God’s plan of greatness for their lives. ‘The lazy person claims, “There’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!”Prov.22:13. Lazy people manufacture very brilliant excuses. Have you met such people? In other words if you tell him or her to go outside you are trying to kill him or her whereas there is no lion anywhere. A thousand may fall by your side and ten thousand by your right hand but it shall not come near you. After all God says don’t be afraid of the Read the rest of this entry

What Are You Doing?

The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none’ Deut.28:12 [NIV].

The fourth thing you have to reinforce or learn is God will bless the works of your hands. In other words, it is only the works of your hands that God will bless. God will not bless the dreams of your mind that have not translated into work. Some people are super dreamers, always dreaming. It is good to have a very big vision; it is better to just start something. You know why? It is because God will only bless the works of your hands. Read the rest of this entry

Keep Your Flock

But David persisted. “I have been taking care of my father’s sheep and goats,” he said. “When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock, I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth…’ 1Sam.17:34-35

The key to the shepherds experiencing glory was in minding their business [Luke 2:8-9]. When you mind your business, then heaven is able to trust you with new business [Luke 16:10]. ‘So an elder must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money. He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?’ [1Tim.3:2-5]. Your Business

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them…’ Luke 2:8-9 [KJV].

My grandmother would say, “You cannot be looking at another person’s wristwatch to determine the timing of your own life”. Everybody has his or her own timing. Which brings us to the third thing that you and I have to reinforce or learn. Your job is to mind your own business. It is wisdom to mind your own business. God is going to be doing amazing things around you. Thank God for what He is doing but focus on your own because Read the rest of this entry

More Than Enough

‘However, we don’t want to offend them, so go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us” Matt.17:27.

Live each day confident that God has already provided. It is not when God asks you to sacrifice that He begins to look for bread for you to eat. Have you not heard? He provides seed for the sower and bread for the eater? [2Cor.9:10]. If God says He has made resources available to you then be confident whether you can see them or not. Just know that this situation is not taking God unawares. I may not have the resources but I know God Read the rest of this entry
