Response-ability
Luke 23:32 “Two others, both criminals, were led out to be executed with him. 33 When they came to a place called The Skull, they nailed him to the cross. And the criminals were also crucified—one on his right and one on his left.”

Testament
Dan.6: 19 Very early the next morning, the king got up and hurried out to the lions’ den. 20 When he got there, he called out in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?”

No Shortcuts
Dan.1:8 “But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king… 17 …And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams.”
Discipline is making advance decisions to delay gratification as long as necessary to achieve long lasting results. However, there are certain areas where we prefer quick gratification rather than delayed gratification. Read the rest of this entry
Divine Backing
Matt.18:20 (NIV) “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Laying on of hands releases supernatural assistance. Having supernatural assistance can be likened to this: if your enemies have guns and all you have in the physical is a knife, when you have supernatural assistance, submachine guns would be arrayed behind you facing your enemy. By His Hands
Matt.9:18 “As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.”

The church is a spiritual place. In the gathering of God’s people, a lot of spiritual activity goes on. Destinies are rearranged for good; defences are set up and it is important
Resting?
Ex.20: 8 “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 You have six days each week for your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God…”
Traditionally, the Sabbath day falls on a Saturday. This is the reason the Jews still go to the synagogue on Saturday. But the early church moved their day of worship to Sunday in honour of Christ’s resurrection and the headship of Jesus.
