New Chapter

Male & Female
John 20:16,20,27 “Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” … As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side… Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side… Believe!”
Jesus used voice recognition with Mary but showed His scars to the disciples and Thomas. Why? Did you do your homework? Why?
Luke 22:61-62 “At that moment the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Suddenly, the Lord’s words flashed through Peter’s mind: “Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.” And Peter left the courtyard, weeping bitterly.”
Why didn’t John set Peter straight after he denied Jesus the first time? Jesus was arrested and taken to face trial. John, the beloved, was a local boy of Judea so he knew everybody. The Other Disciple
Eccl.4:9-10 “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.”
John 18:17 “The woman said to Peter, “You are not also one of this man’s disciples, are you?” He said, “I am not.” When the woman said, “also”, it means there was someone they knew was Jesus’ disciple, right? Stand Tall!
John 18:4 “Jesus fully realized all that was going to happen to him, so he stepped forward to meet them. “Who are you looking for?” he asked.”
John 18:3 “The leading priests and Pharisees had given Judas a contingent of Roman soldiers and Temple guards to accompany him…” The number of soldiers alone, not to talk of the temple guards, that came to arrest Jesus were at least two hundred. Read the rest of this entry
Unity & Glory
Rom. 15:6 “In this unity, you will share one voice as you glorify the one True God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, our Liberating King.” (Voice]
If in the few hours He had left, Jesus thought it important to pray for unity in the Church, then it is worthy of focus. What I say to my friends, my colleagues, my seniors in ministry is that, ‘we do not have to agree on all the minors. Read the rest of this entry
