Recall

Deuteronomy 4:20 “Remember that the Lord rescued you from the iron-smelting furnace of Egypt in order to make you his very own people and his special possession, which is what you are today.”

The implications of ingathering for you and me are; number one Harvest. Number two To Invoke God’s Blessings. Number three so that We Will Always Be Grateful. The significance is, the feast of ingathering is also known as the feast of booths, or the feast of the tabernacles. Read the rest of this entry

Only Jesus

Colossians 2:9-10 “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all  principality and power.” (NIV)

The first significance of ingathering for us is Harvest and the second significance of ingathering for us is The Invocation of God’s Blessings For The Coming Year. Ingathering is not just about gathering in; it is also invoking God’s blessing. In Deuteronomy 6 (please read), Read the rest of this entry

Time Up!

Psalm 126:1-2 “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.” (KJV)

The first significance of ingathering is Harvest. With the Jews, in the agricultural year, the things that are not brought in during the ingathering rot. But for us, spiritually, the things that are not brought in during ingathering are stored. What does this mean? Read the rest of this entry

Secrets, IV

Lev.26:4-5 “I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land.” (NIV)

We will start today’s devotional from our final thought from yesterday, which is that some people have a problem with Christians talking about wealth. They insist that Jesus rode on a donkey and not in a Lexus or Mercedes. Read the rest of this entry

Secrets, I

Deut.28:8-9 “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. “If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, the Lord will establish you…” (NRSV)

The first key to unlock the heavens is You Must Pray. You have to understand that the supernatural only responds when the people of God take their place in prayer. You have to pray. Prayer connects earth to heaven. Read the rest of this entry

High Priority

Leviticus 26:4 “I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.” (NRSV)

Two Things

2 Cor. 8:7 “Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.”

How can my life give thanks to God? By Singing From My Heart, by Thanking God In Prayer, by Telling Others The Good News. Fourthly, by Giving An Offering Back To God. Thanks and giving go together, that is why it is called thanksgiving. Read the rest of this entry

Give Thanks

Ps. 148:5 “Let all things praise the name of the Lord, because we were created at his command.” (CEV, emphasis added).

God is good, that is why it is a delight to walk with Him. Even when you do not understand what He is doing, you know that all things work together for the good of those that love God and are called according to His purpose. Even though I do not understand it, Read the rest of this entry

Appraisal

Genesis 22:1-2 “Some time later, God tested Abraham’s faith…  “Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.”

Spiritual things are not subject to people’s preferences. If you pay the price, you will be unstoppable. There is a classic story in Genesis 22:1-19 (please read), Abraham heard God say he should take his son, his only son whom he loves, Isaac, and sacrifice him to God. Read the rest of this entry

The Price

Psalm 75:6-7 “This I know: the favour that brings promotion and power doesn’t come from anywhere on earth, for no one exalts a person but God, the true judge of all. He alone determines where favour rests. He anoints one for greatness and brings another down to his knees” (TPT)

We will kick off today’s devotional still looking at the experience I shared in yesterday’s devotional. God told me to give a certain amount to a couple, which I did not have. However, my mind went to a pair of suede shoes I had, and I knew what God required of me. Read the rest of this entry
