Source Dependent I

Acts 17:28 “For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’”

Blessings are spiritual streams. A stream should have a source and an outlet. Understanding the importance of the source and the outlet makes our lives pleasurable and easier. It Is The Source That  Creates The Stream and not the other way around. Read the rest of this entry

The Charge

Acts 15:32-33 “Then Judas and Silas, both being prophets, spoke at length to the believers, encouraging and strengthening their faith. They stayed for a while, and then the believers sent them back to the church in Jerusalem with a blessing of peace.”

We will begin today’s devotional by staying with the question from yesterday. People do not get answers because they do not stay with the question for long enough. The question is, who is spiritually better because of you? Read the rest of this entry

Fuel Up

Luke 2:37 “Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer.”

Passionate Fire

Sng.2:15 [TPT] “You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.”

The Call

Dan.3:17 “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. 18 But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

The Stand

Eph.6:10 “…be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might… 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth…”

There is so much to learn from the Book and the person of Daniel, particularly in times like this. Things are challenging for the world; however, we are certain that it does not take God by surprise. According to Read the rest of this entry

Hold On!

Jer.29: 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you…”

As we endure, our character grows and develops. With endurance working hand-in-hand with courage, discipline, and vision, you will see your desires come to pass, in Jesus name.

With Honours

2 Chron. 1:10 Give me the wisdom and knowledge to lead them properly, for who could possibly govern this great people of yours?”

Come Up Here

Rev.4:1 Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.” [with emphasis]

God wants us to step up spiritually. The first thing and a major key to stepping up spiritually that stands out from today’s Scripture reference is “…the same voice I had heard before spoke to me…” This points to the fact that there has to be an existing relationship before you can begin to step up spiritually.
