Key Thoughts II

“Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything” Prov.11:24

As long as you are on earth, you are going to be dealing with people. People are capable of giving you the greatest joy in life. People are capable of causing you the greatest pain in life. It is people that are going to open the door to your next level or stand in the door way and try to frustrate your life. Everyone you are in a relationship with, you are dealing with [your boss, Read the rest of this entry

Be On The Offensive

“One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” Luke 18:1 & 8

In Luke 18, Jesus tells us the story of the persistent widow who went to the judge seeking justice but the judge did not pay her any attention. And this woman kept on attacking this judge until he cracked and gave her what she wanted. “I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” Luke 18:8. When people come across the word faith in this portion of scripture, they Read the rest of this entry

Your Part

“But the man of God was angry with him. “You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed. “Then you would have beaten Syria until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.” Then Elisha died and was buried” 2 Kings 13:19-20

The second thing that bothered me when I read the story in 2Kings 13:14-20 is our scripture reference for today. Scripture says, “Then Elisha died and was buried” 2 Kings 13:20. Meaning the king did not have an opportunity to appeal. The king did not get the chance to say I did not understand what you were saying, give me a second chance. After all Prophet Read the rest of this entry

Rejoice! Help Is Here!

“…Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper” 2Chr.20:20

When Eli made that statement, Hannah’s response was, “Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad1 Sam.1:18. Hannah was no longer sad. But the problem is people fear evil significantly more than they accept good. If some mad man or spiritualist dressed in his regalia were to walk up to an average person and curses the Read the rest of this entry

With Jesus

Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.  But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shoutedMatt.14:29-30.

How do you see wind? You really cannot see wind but you can see the waves. Yet Peter saw the waves and the wind because fear exaggerates. Fear is based on exaggeration; yes the waves are there but yes Jesus is also there. I learnt this a long time ago, in walking with God what will keep you is focusing on Jesus and Jesus alone. When you take your eyes off Him you begin to sink. Read the rest of this entry

Amazing Ability

“But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water” Matt.14:27-28

Peter and all the other disciples we in the middle of a crisis, yet Peter asked Jesus if he could walk on water. How did Peter even think about that? He saw Jesus walking on water and Peter thought to himself, how would it feel to walk on water? Many of us really need to let our imagination loose. Read the rest of this entry

Walking On Water

“But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water” Matt.14:27-28

What does it mean to walk on water? God causing you to walk on water means God making a way where there seems to be no way. Remember the children of Israel? When you are traveling and you meet water do you continue? You should not except you can swim. God causing you to walk on water means that God will make a way where there seems to be no way in your life in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry

Rooted In God

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Jer.32:27 [NKJV]

During my service year in Northern Nigeria, I used to go and pray for hours in some abandoned church hall. I would lie there and pray and I could touch the Presence of God. It was so real. The power of God was overwhelming on me. The villagers of course took note of this man who is always preaching and praying and so one day when one of them was dying they called on me to Read the rest of this entry

Why Not?

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Jer.32:27 [NKJV]

I am praying today that God will stretch forth His hands in your life and do the miraculous in every area of your life in the Mighty Name of Jesus. However it is noteworthy that some people still do not believe in miracles and some people do not pray for miracles. So the question is why don’t people pray for miracles? There are three main reasons why people do not pray for miracles Read the rest of this entry

Outstretched Hand

Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus” Acts 4:30 [emphasis added].

And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your wordActs 4:29 [emphasis added]. As we have begun to desire, ask, and pray for great boldness, its my prayer that none of our prayers will go unanswered in Jesus Name. For some of us, the boldness we need is to confront our spouse because they have become terrorists. For some Read the rest of this entry
