The antidote for poverty is work! “But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up? A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber” Prov.6:9-11. Ask Gehazi
“Such is the fate of all who are greedy for money; it robs them of life” Prov.1:19.
Greed is very powerful. It blinds the sharpest Prophet and reduces hearing accuracy. Ask Gehazi. He could have gotten quadruple of Elijah’s anointing [double of Elisha’s anointing]. Test of Trust I
“Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you? “You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me” Mal.3:8
Everything we own is a test of our trust. It was that trust that the enemy was attacking with Adam and Eve. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil” Gen.3:5. The Life?
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?” Matt.6:25.
Many of us are always chasing ‘the life’. We call it many things; some people call it ‘to arrive’. So we spend a lot of our time doing the things we think will lead to us ‘arriving’. Some people refer to chasing ‘the life’ as ‘wake up’. There are different expressions but the bottom line is a lot of people are chasing what they consider as ‘the life’. Rich Givers

God has blessed me with more than I need. I am grateful. I am rich. I will not trust in riches but in Him who richly provides for me. It is important that you realize that you are rich. It is not so much of a prophecy, it is a fact, and it is the truth. You are rich. Consider Your Ways!

What Is Oil?
‘What can I do to help you? Elisha asked. ‘Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied’ 2 Kings 4:2.
Which is easier, when you are pursuing money or when money is pursuing you? Obviously it is easier when money is pursuing you. When money is pursuing you, won’t you just stop and tell it to catch you. Or what will you do if money is pursuing you? Divine Direction
‘Then at last the Lord said to me, ‘You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north’ Deut. 2:2-3
Principle #3 is the principle of divine direction. The principle of divine direction simply states that God knows your way out of poverty. Go and get that direction from Him. In the part of the world that I come from, they say ‘it is God that knows the path to wealth’ [Yoruba proverb translated].
