Disarm Distraction
Isa.8:13 “Make the Lord of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.”
The King James Version reads “Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.” Do not be afraid of anything or anyone else? Read the rest of this entry
Focus!
Luke 9:51 “As the time drew near for him to ascend to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.” [with emphasis]
Over the next couple of day, by the Spirit of God, we will be dealing with distractions to fighting. Beginning today, Read the rest of this entry
Not Alone
Eccl.4: 9 “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble… 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.”
Today, we are going to tackle two very important questions in the life of every believer. Two questions that set you apart either for destiny fulfillment or for destruction.
Goodness & Mercy
Psa.136: 1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever.”
Ps.23:6 [NRSV] “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…”
Restore & Renew
Ps.139: 5 “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.”
Happy New Year! In this New year, God will continue to fill us to the over flowing with the life of Christ Jesus. God will continue to release us into our destinies and God’s Favourite House
His Sheep
The Gifts I
Matt.2: 11 “And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
The wise men brought the gifts of Frankincense, Gold and Myrrh to Jesus. It is so important that we understand how this applies to us.
The People III
Matt.2: 11 “And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
#4. The Wise men. It is interesting that God is not a respecter of people, or race, or color, or tribe. These wise men came all the way from the east and they worshipped Jesus.
The People II
Matt.2: 2 “saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
#2. The Scholars. They are religious people and they know the Bible. In fact, when Herod called the scribe to inquire about where the Christ will be born, he did not even need to look at the Bible.
Dwelling Place
Ps.84: 1 “How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 2 I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.”
Guidance from the Word will take you to the town. Matt.2:6 “But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’”
