Eph.4:3 “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” (emphasis added)

New Life Instructions III

Mark 2:22 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.” (emphasis added)

Paul’s Case

Eph.4:17 “With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused.”

Whereas in Eph.4:1 Paul said, “I beg you…”, in Eph.4:17 he says, “With the Lord’s authority I say this…”. We see a graduation from the picture of a father talking to his children, “I beg you…”. Read the rest of this entry

The Call

Eph.4:1Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.” (emphasis added).

Such Love!

Rom.8:38-39 (Voice) “For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord.

Eph.3:18-19 “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.” (emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

I Pray

Rom.8:38 “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”

All This

Eph.3:1, 14-15 “When I think of all this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for the benefit of you Gentiles . . . When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.” (emphasis added).
