2 Tim. 2:15 “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.”

Advantage?
Isaiah 30:21 “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.”
Stepping up starts with admitting your dependence on God. For you to step up, you need to see that without God, you really cannot be all that God has called you to be. Sadly, a lot of people are embracing the idea that they can do what they want with their lives. Read the rest of this entry
Him Not I
James 4:10 (Voice) “Lay yourself bare, facedown to the ground, in humility before the Lord; and He will lift your head so you can stand tall.”
God skipped all the likely candidates and picked Joshua as the one to lead God’s people into His promise. This is not the first time we see this play out in Scripture and it was not the last time either. We must always remember that God does not see as man sees. Read the rest of this entry
God’s Elect
Jer. 1:10 (VOICE) “This very day I appointed you to speak with My authority over nations and kingdoms. Your word—My word—will have the power to uproot and stamp out; it will destroy and upend. And then your word—My word—will rebuild and plant anew”
Moses was the man that went to the mountain top and saw God face to face and when he came down people could not even look at him. Moses was the man that got the Ten Commandments directly from God. It Is Time!
Joshua 1:1 “After the death of Moses the Lord’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them”
Holy Spirit of the Living God, I declare my love for You today. I ask that You saturate my life with Your Presence. Let Your love, Your Presence and Your power flood my life forever. I am totally dependent on You. Guide me, teach me, lead me, instruct me, and grow me. Read the rest of this entry
Community
Heb.10:25 (ERV) “We must not quit meeting together, as some are doing. No, we need to keep on encouraging each other. This becomes more and more important as you see the Day getting closer.”
Losing one’s joy is usually the beginning of backsliding. The first thing the enemy attacks is joy. Almost all the cases of backsliding amongst people that I know started with loss of joy. Read the rest of this entry
Joy vs. Happiness
James 1:2 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Nobody enjoys trials, not even Jesus. Jesus did not like the cross and He is the Son of God. Jesus told everyone that the cross was the purpose for which He had come but when He was faced with the cross, He ran to the Father. “Lord, if it is Your will make this cup pass over me”. For His Glory
Ex.23:30 [Voice] “Rather, I will drive them out a little at a time—a few here, a few there—until your numbers grow and you are strong enough to take over the land and its care.”
Your growth is linked to your destiny. If you do not grow, if you do not increase in capacity, you cannot fulfill your destiny. Even though God was fighting for the nation of Israel, He still did not drive out all their enemies at once. Read the rest of this entry
