In Place
Luke 11:33 “No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house.”

Time Up!
Psalm 126:1-2 “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.” (KJV)

Surely!
Isaiah 14:24 “The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, “Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand” (NKJV)
John 7:37–39 “On the last day, the climax of the festival [the climax of the season, the festival of ingathering], Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)” This feast is known as the feast of ingathering. As the Priest was rounding up the feast, Jesus barged in and declared that He is the water of life. Ingathering is also the feast of tabernacles or the feast of boots. Psalm 145:16 “When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.”

Psalm 42:1-2 “As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him?”

Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” (NIV)
We will kick-off today’s devotional with the final thought from yesterday. Whose Dream?
Gen.45:5&8 “But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives… So it was God who sent me here, not you! And he is the one who made me an adviser to Pharaoh…”
When Joseph had a dream, all he could see was – him, his dream, and himself. But by the time Joseph matured through the purity of the prison, the mentorship of the tormentor, he realized that it was God’s dream after all. Can you see what God did? He showed Joseph the immaturity of his heart at the time. Read the rest of this entry
Why?
Ps.23:3 “He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honour to his name.”
Why do we do the things we do? It is all for God’s glory. Why will God set a table for you in the presence of your enemies? It is all, all for God’s glory. So that when you are feasting and singing praises to God, and they ask, ‘Which God are you praising?’ You will respond, ‘My Jesus!’ Isn’t that beautiful? Read the rest of this entry
