In Partnership

Luke 9:16 “Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people.” (emphasis added)

To multiply you have to organize, it has to be blessed, and it has to be given away for it to multiply.  The fourth lesson on multiplication is you must collaborate with people if you want to multiply. Jesus kept giving the bread and the fish to His disciples. Jesus could not do it by Himself. Read the rest of this entry

Step One

Luke 9:13 “But Jesus said, “You feed them…” “But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered. “Or are you expecting us to go and buy enough food for this whole crowd?” (emphasis added).

This scripture is very personal to me, and I will share why. But first, let me remind you that all you need to fulfil your destiny is with you and in you already, even right now. When God’s Favourite House started, we were just a handful of people passionate for God, fired up with a vision. Read the rest of this entry

Our text over the next few days is from Luke 19:11-13 (KJV), Luke 19:15-26 (NLT), please read. The first thing we are told is that Jesus was near to Jerusalem, meaning Jesus was approaching the cross, the time He would leave His disciples and lay down His life. Read the rest of this entry

Just Flow, II

Eze.37:3Eternal One (to Ezekiel): Son of man, do you think these bones can live?

Ezekiel: Eternal Lord, certainly You know the answer better than I do.” (Voice).

Ezekiel is teaching us about an aspect of God through the way He addresses God. Ezekiel knew that God could do anything, but he also knew that God would do what He wants to do. He is God all by Himself. Read the rest of this entry

What God Says

Eze.37:7 “So I did what God told me to do: I prophesied to the bones. As I was speaking, I heard a loud noise—a rattling sound—and all the bones began to come together and form complete skeletons.” (Voice)

I am all for being educated and I think it is a fantastic thing to use our brains. However, when we see some things, we say to ourselves that we are realists, and we have to say things the way they are. Pastor, are you saying we should not say the truth? Read the rest of this entry

Voice It

Psalm 119:149 “Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, Lord, according to your laws.” (NIV)

Your voice is indispensable for things to move in your favour. You must know how to deploy your voice in the spiritual. You must know how to use your voice when you pray. Jesus was hungry, He saw a fig tree and wanted to pluck its fruit. Read the rest of this entry

Hands On

Acts 3:6-7 “But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly…”

Compassion. Faith. Action. Persistence. Our fifth lesson for the four men in Mark 2:1-12 is Creativity. These men were creative, they dared to do something different. Sometimes, we look at a situation and we accept defeat – it is my fault, these things are just the way they are so there is nothing I can do. Read the rest of this entry

Compassion

Rom. 15:2 “We should all be concerned about our neighbor and the good things that will build his faith.” (GW, emphasis added)

Our first lesson from the friends of the paralytic man in Mark 2:1-12 [please read] is they had compassion. These four friends became concerned for a hurting friend. Most times, people are just not concerned. Read the rest of this entry
