Your Move

Rom.10:15 “And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims, A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God!” (MSG)

I pray that because you have come into the presence of God today, that God will breathe on you and teach you His Word by Himself. I pray that God will change your life and take you higher still. I also pray that what God needs to do in this season will be clear to you in Jesus Mighty Name. Read the rest of this entry

Ezra 8:23 “So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.”

Fasting and praying add fuel to your sacrifice. It becomes explosive and the results are evident even in with our physical bodies. The last time I shared this story, it helped a teenager breakthrough and he got out of it. I used to bed wet when I was growing up. Read the rest of this entry

Ezra 8:23 “So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.”

Today, we will go further in our final thought from yesterday. Matt.17:21 But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (NASB, emphasis added). When Jesus saw the demon-possessed boy, did He say to the father wait, let me go and fast and pray first? Read the rest of this entry

Fast & Pray

Ex.34:28 “Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.” (NIV)

In today’s scripture reference we see what is called the Moses kind of fast. Moses did not eat food or drink water for forty days and forty nights. For this kind of fast, I would say except the Lord shows, up to you and tells you to do it, do not do it. Read the rest of this entry

Ex.31:2-3 “See, I have called by name Bezalel, son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom and skill, in understanding and intelligence, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship” (AMP)

Today, we will be looking at three creative tools: the Word of God, the mind, and the tongue.

#1. The Word of God is the first and foremost creative tool ever. It is our most powerful tool. Heb.11:3By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.” (NRSV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

Create!

Gen.2:19-20 “So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals…”

Creativity [to create] can be defined as is the ability to merge the practical and the imaginary, a seamless merger between the intuitive and the pragmatic. You can be a thinking-doer or a doing-thinker, but you must be a doer and a thinker for you to be creative. Read the rest of this entry

You & Him

Isaiah 1:18 “Come, let’s talk this over, says the Lord; no matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can take it out and make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you white as wool!” (LB)

To have power with God and man, the first thing is, you have to Learn To Pray By Yourself Without Relying On Someone Else To Pray For You. Gen.32:22-24During the night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two servant wives, and his eleven sons and crossed the Jabbok River with them. After taking them to the other side, he sent over all his possessions. This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break.” Read the rest of this entry

By Yourself, II

Job 22:27-28 “You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. “You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.” (AMP).

We will pick up today’s devotion from where we stopped yesterday. To have power with God and man, the first thing is, you have to Learn To Pray By Yourself Without Relying On Someone Else To Pray For You. I shared how while I was waiting to board a flight, I was offered money and a hotel room to stay back and fly the next day because the flight was overbooked. Read the rest of this entry

By Yourself, I

Psalm 5:2-3 “You are my King and my God. Answer my cry for help because I pray to you. Each morning you listen to my prayer, as I bring my requests to you and wait for your reply.” (CEV).

For the next few days, we are going to be looking at ten things that should be in place to have power with God and man. The first thing is, you have to Learn To Pray By Yourself Without Relying On Someone Else To Pray For You.  If you are going to have power with God, Read the rest of this entry

Open Up!

Rom.8:26 “…by our faith—the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying. For we don’t even know what we should pray for nor how to pray as we should, but the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words.” (TLB)

When you pray in tongues you charge yourself up spiritually like a battery. When you pray in tongues you pray from your spirit. When you pray in tongues your prayer is dictated and directed by the Holy Spirit. When you pray in tongues you operate instantly in the spirit realm. Read the rest of this entry
