Hands Off II

“And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word” Acts 6:3-4

Find the things that ONLY YOU can do, then hands-off everything else! This is what I do. When my colleagues bring an issue to me, I send them back. Go and solve the problem and come to me with options, then we can take it from there. If I keep solving the problem for you, then I am doing your job for you. And I do not want to do that. I want to do what only I can do.

Think Clearly

“So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing” 1 Cor.9:26

Human beings are very impulsive. The average person acts impulsively. They just go with the wind and the whim of their emotions. But you do not have to be average. God wants you to act strategically. God wants you to act based on clear thoughts and not based on what is thrown at you. When you find yourself in situations where things are being thrown at you, God wants you to think and think clearly. When the farmer’s dog is restless and the farmer wants to wear his dog out, he simply takes the dog to a large field with rabbits. The dog spots the first rabbit and chases it. No Stress

“But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!  There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42 [emphasis added].

The way the Word of God is, you have to keep hearing it over and over again. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing. God’s Word for us all is Victory. I am confident that as you keep hearing this Word and you open your heart to God, God will do what only He can do in your life and in your situation, in Jesus Name. If you are going to have victory, it is up to you. It is not going to be up to the witch in the village, if there is any. It is not going to be up to that wicked relative that does not wish you well. It is not going to be up to that mean parent that has spoken ill of you. It is not going to be up to your cousin who keeps stealing from you. It is going to be up to you. The earlier you brace up Read the rest of this entry

It Is Finished

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory1Cor.2:7-8 [emphasis added]

Let the party begin. I can imagine the party in hell. The jubilating, the victory stories, the dancing, and the drinking, and imagine them patting each other on the back. The party lasted day one, day two and on the third day they heard the deafening sound of footsteps coming towards them. Who can that be? Everyone was complete. So who is coming? And the order came, “go and check!” A demon ran and came back with this report; “you would not believe it Read the rest of this entry

For His Glory

I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.” Matt.25:25 [emphasis added]

The fourth enemy of exploitation is Fear. Please read Matthew 25:14-20. The servant said, I was afraid…” Fear is a major challenge for a lot of us. A lot of people would have gone very far in life but for fear. They are afraid to take a step or to exploit a situation. God will break the back of that fear in Jesus Name. But if you further examine what this same servant said, this servant that did not take full advantage and was not productive, he said, “Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate”. In other words, he was saying his master is an exploitative person. The master said, “you know I operate the Principle of Exploitation, at least you should have put my money in the bank.” Read the rest of this entry

Your Command

“Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen” Matt.21:21

As a child of God, God has given you authority. Your line of command is clear; your authority is from God. Do you know what it means when you give commands in the Name of Jesus? You are saying through the authority of Christ, I command you. The demon must go, not because you are powerful but because Jesus is powerful. Remember the traffic warden illustration yesterday? The Twist

“One day news came to David that the Philistines were at Keilah stealing grain from the threshing floors. David asked the Lord, “Should I go and attack them?” “Yes, go and save Keilah,” the Lord told him” 1 Sam.23:1-2

David is a master of maneuver. Please read the story in 1 Samuel 23, it is an amazing read. David’s heart was for his people Israel even though he himself was on the run from Saul. The Jewish city, Keilah, was being attacked by the Philistines. So David asked for permission to help them. As soon as he got clearance from God, David engaged his six hundred men.

But David’s men said, “We’re afraid even here in Judah. We certainly don’t want to go to Keilah to fight the whole Philistine army!” So David asked the Lord again, and again the Lord replied, “Go down to Keilah, for I will help you conquer the Philistines.” 1 Sam.23:3-4. So David went and delivered the city from the hands of the Philistines. Of Read the rest of this entry

Deliberate Action

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Prov.29:18  [KJV]

Life is a battle. You do not need to spend long on earth to discover that life is a battle. From birth the baby had to breakthrough; it comes into a strange world. The first thing that comes out of the baby’s mouth is a cry. And the battle never stops; the last victory or defeat will be with death. For those of us that are saved, it is a victory already because death where is your sting. But until that last battle, the struggle continues. Like any military commander, spectacular success depends on your ability to think and act strategically. You are the general of your life. You call Read the rest of this entry

H.A.L.T!

“Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out… But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me… you will not bring this community into the land I give them” Num.20:11-12 [NIV]

#3. Decisions! Decisions!! Decisions!!! This is one thing I can hear in my spirit consistently. Your decisions, they say, determine your destiny. It is not the devil; it is your decisions that determine your destiny. The turn you take or you do not take. Your decisions will either hasten or halt your destiny. So watch out for what I call the destiny H.A.L.T signs. Do not make impulsive decisions when you see a halt sign so as not to halt your destiny. What is a halt sign and how do we recognize a halt sign?

R.E.P. God

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to breaking of bread and to prayer… All the believers were together and had everything in common” Acts 2:42 & 44 [NIV]

#2: Your personal relationship with Jesus is key. This is the second derivative of Victory. Do not move without the Holy Spirit. Has God sent you on that journey? If not, then do not do it. Do not just do things because you can. I am passionate about seeing people grow spiritually so much that my first book ever, New Creation Reality, is about spiritual growth. I have crystalized spiritual growth into three words and to help you remember these three things is the acronym– R.E.P. For you to grow spiritually, the first thing you have to pay attention to is your Read the rest of this entry
