What God Says
Eze.37:7 “So I did what God told me to do: I prophesied to the bones. As I was speaking, I heard a loud noise—a rattling sound—and all the bones began to come together and form complete skeletons.” (Voice)
I am all for being educated and I think it is a fantastic thing to use our brains. However, when we see some things, we say to ourselves that we are realists, and we have to say things the way they are. Pastor, are you saying we should not say the truth? Read the rest of this entry
His Name Sake
Eze.36: 22 “Therefore, give the people of Israel this message from the Sovereign Lord: I am bringing you back, but not because you deserve it. I am doing it to protect my holy name…” [emphasis added].
We will pick up today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is if there is one thing you must do in your life it is to ensure that people know you with God’s Name. When you are associated with God, God will do certain things for you not because of you, but because of His Name. Read the rest of this entry
Voice Plug
Dan.10:12-14 “…Since the first day you began to pray… your request has been heard in heaven… I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me…”
When was the answer released? Immediately but when did Daniel receive it? Twenty-one days later. What do you think would have happened if Daniel did not tarry in the place of prayer insisting on an answer? Read the rest of this entry
The Vessel
2 Cor.4:7 “But this beautiful treasure is contained in us—cracked pots made of earth and clay—so that the transcendent character of this power will be clearly seen as coming from God and not from us.” (Voice)
Can we start our time in God’s presence today with thanksgiving? Let us thank God for all that He is doing in this season and for all that He will still do. Thank God for healing the sick, for restoring lives, for energising destinies, for promotion, and for certifications. Read the rest of this entry
Now Speak!
Acts 2:18 “In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike—and they will prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God’s kingdom].” (NLT & AMPC)
Two things we need to understand about the prophetic as we begin to prophesy and walk in the company of prophets. The first is The Cooperate Prophetic Anointing Can Be Contagious. Please read 1 Sam.19:19-24. Read the rest of this entry
Know & Do
Lam.3:40-41 “Let’s take a good look at the way we’re living and reorder our lives under God. Let’s lift our hearts and hands at one and the same time, praying to God in heaven.” (MSG)
God is saying to you and me, Isa.62:7-9 “Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth. The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength: “I will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine. You raised the grain, and you will eat it, praising the Lord. Within the courtyards of the Temple, you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed.” [emphasis added]. Read the rest of this entry
Hands On
Acts 3:6-7 “But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly…”
Compassion. Faith. Action. Persistence. Our fifth lesson for the four men in Mark 2:1-12 is Creativity. These men were creative, they dared to do something different. Sometimes, we look at a situation and we accept defeat – it is my fault, these things are just the way they are so there is nothing I can do. Read the rest of this entry
Persistent Action
2 Cor. 5:20 “So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. (AMP)
From the story of the four men in Mark 2:1-12 [please read], we have learnt we must have compassion on others, we need to have faith and we need to act. Luke 14:23 “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” (KJV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry
Your Move
Rom.10:15 “And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims, A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God!” (MSG)
I pray that because you have come into the presence of God today, that God will breathe on you and teach you His Word by Himself. I pray that God will change your life and take you higher still. I also pray that what God needs to do in this season will be clear to you in Jesus Mighty Name. Read the rest of this entry
