Time Up!

Psalm 126:1-2 “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.” (KJV)

The first significance of ingathering is Harvest. With the Jews, in the agricultural year, the things that are not brought in during the ingathering rot. But for us, spiritually, the things that are not brought in during ingathering are stored. What does this mean? Read the rest of this entry

Secrets, III

Isaiah 22:22 “I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.”

When the heavens open, the first thing to expect is Clear Communication With Heaven. The second thing to expect is Angels Will Work For You. Gen.28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.” (KJV, emphasis added). Deut.28:8-9 “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. “If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, the Lord will establish you…” (NRSV)

The first key to unlock the heavens is You Must Pray. You have to understand that the supernatural only responds when the people of God take their place in prayer. You have to pray. Prayer connects earth to heaven. Read the rest of this entry

The Source

1 Kings 18:43 “Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.” The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.” Seven times Elijah told him to go and look.”

Even though Elijah had heard the sound of the abundance of rain, he still went to pray. Why? Prayer is what connects heaven to earth. Elijah put his head between his knees and began to pray. After a while, he sent his servant to go and check, but he saw nothing. Read the rest of this entry

Appraisal

Genesis 22:1-2 “Some time later, God tested Abraham’s faith…  “Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.”

Spiritual things are not subject to people’s preferences. If you pay the price, you will be unstoppable. There is a classic story in Genesis 22:1-19 (please read), Abraham heard God say he should take his son, his only son whom he loves, Isaac, and sacrifice him to God. Read the rest of this entry

The Price

Psalm 75:6-7 “This I know: the favour that brings promotion and power doesn’t come from anywhere on earth, for no one exalts a person but God, the true judge of all. He alone determines where favour rests. He anoints one for greatness and brings another down to his knees” (TPT)

We will kick off today’s devotional still looking at the experience I shared in yesterday’s devotional. God told me to give a certain amount to a couple, which I did not have. However, my mind went to a pair of suede shoes I had, and I knew what God required of me. Read the rest of this entry

Favour O’ Clock

Ps.44:3 “They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you favoured them.” (NLT, KJV, emphasis added)

Twelve years ago, on this very day, God’s Favourite House had her first Worship experience, and we are grateful to God for all that He has done with His church thus far. We thank God for all that He is doing even now, and we are in awe of God for what He is set to do. Read the rest of this entry

2 Sam.7:25 “And now, O Lord God, I am your servant; do as you have promised concerning me and my family. Confirm it as a promise that will last forever… make them true perpetually. Do what You have promised.” (NLT, Voice, emphasis added).
