Mark 3:27 Let me illustrate this further. Who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.
When you enter the house of a strong man, you have to deal with the strong man first before you plunder and take possession of his goods. Read the rest of this entry

2 Peter 1:10 (TLB) “…work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen, and then you will never stumble or fall away.11 And God will open wide the gates of heaven for you to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
The statue of liberty is famous for many reasons, one of which is the detail the sculpture has. It will interest you to know that as the sculptor was making that piece, he never knew that anyone would be able to see the top of the statue of liberty. Read the rest of this entry
Extra, Extra
Gen.24:19 “When she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels, too, until they have had enough to drink.” 25 “Yes, we have plenty of straw and feed for the camels, and we have room for guests.”
People who excel do more and people who excel, they do more. In Genesis 24, Abraham sent his oldest servant to help pick out a wife for Isaac. So, he prayed and stepped out in faith. When he asked Rebecca for water, without any prompting she decided to go the extra mile and water his camels also. Read the rest of this entry

1 Sam.3:19 “As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him, and everything Samuel said, proved to be reliable.”
The second thing that excellent people do is sharpen their skills. So, rate yourself; how are your job skills? You need to be brutal with yourself in your assessment. If your job skills are obsolete, then you are a one. If you are learning, then you are a five. A ten is if you have a developmental plan. Read the rest of this entry

Prov. 24:16 “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again.” [with emphasis]
Today, we will continue to draw strength and inspiration as well as challenge ourselves with the story of Ray Crock, the founder of McDonalds. He did not just start off a billion dollar company at the age of fifty-two, many other people became billionaires because one man chose to stick it out! What is your excuse? Locate that excuse and trash it! Not many of us reading this today have turned Read the rest of this entry

Energy even though finite is a variable. You can increase your energy level physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually by doing the right type of exercise and eating right accordingly. Time however, cannot be increased. While time is linear and cannot be concentrated, energy fluctuates and can be concentrated. And the increase in energy given in Read the rest of this entry

Prov. 15:14 (GN) “Intelligent people want to learn, but stupid people are satisfied with ignorance” [with emphasis]
The next N in Solomon’s six winning ways is Never Stop Learning. God’s Word states that, “Intelligent people want to learn, but stupid people are satisfied with ignorance.” Many people are brain dead and they have closed minds. Read the rest of this entry

God skipped all the likely candidates and picked Joshua as the one to lead God’s people into His promise. This is not the first time we see this play out in Scripture and it was not the last time either. We must always remember that God does not see as man sees. Read the rest of this entry

Isa. 59: 1 “Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. 2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore”
Yesterday, we learnt about the first way to increase our energy level by conductivity. I pray for you this morning that your conductivity level when it comes to God’s power, will be higher than silver, in Jesus Name. Sin can insulate us from God and in this context sin decreases the rate of power transfer. Nothing decreases the rate of power transfer faster than sin. Sin is a showstopper when it comes to the flow of power.
