Think Big!

Matt. 17:20 “Because you’re not yet taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.” (MSG)

God’s Word is loaded with promises and God wants us to look for them and build our lives on these promises. When we build our lives on God’s promises, our lives become stable. Regardless of the storms, our lives are consistent. Read the rest of this entry

Turn Around

Psalm 30:11 “You did it: You turned my deepest pains into joyful dancing; You stripped off my dark clothing and covered me with joyful light.” (Voice)

Perspective; the God perspective is so important otherwise Joseph would not have experienced his turn around. What do you think would have happened if Joseph had seen Potiphar’s house as the ultimate and gone to announce his manager status? Read the rest of this entry

Positive Progression

Ps.105:19-21 “Until the time came to fulfil his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character. Then Pharaoh sent for him and set him free; the ruler of the nation opened his prison door. Joseph was put in charge of all the king’s household; he became ruler over all the king’s possessions.”

By the grace of God, your turning point has begun; so, expect a turnaround from Darkness to Light. Expect a turning point from the Prison to the Palace. Please read the story of Joseph in Genesis 39 – 45. Read the rest of this entry

Significant Turn

Ps.126:4 “Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.” (KJV)

Different events trigger turning points. In the life of a prophet called Isaiah, God had to take away king Uzziah for Isaiah to experience his turning point and for Isaiah to see properly [please read Isaiah 1:6-8]. Read the rest of this entry

Positive Turn

Ex. 17:11-12 “As long as Moses held up his arms, the Israelites won, but when he put his arms down, the Amalekites started winning …Aaron and Hur brought a stone for him to sit on, while they stood beside him and held up his arms, holding them steady until the sun went down.” (GNT)

Beginning today, by the grace of God, you will experience a definite positive turnaround in that specific area and in every area of your life in the Name of Jesus. A turning point is a point in time when something happens [like something is happening now], Read the rest of this entry

The Big Deal, II

Isa.62:6-7 “O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord.  Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.”

What is the big deal about midnight prayer? The sixth reason is Midnight Is The Turning Point Between Night And Day. Ask Paul and Silas, the turning point happens at midnight. Some things in the spirit realm are speaking to us and they are instructing us. Read the rest of this entry

The Big Deal, I

Psalm 119:62 “I rise at midnight to thank you for your just regulations.”

How Much More

2 Kings 20:1-2 & 5 “… The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed…  “Go back and tell Hezekiah…” (NIV).

Some people say once God has spoken that it is. Not in all cases and this is why you need to understand the difference between prophesy, God’s promises, and God’s decrees. A prophesy can be changed, it does not make God a liar. Read the rest of this entry

By Prayer

2 Kings 20:2-3 “Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.” (NIV).

We kick-off today’s devotional by reading 2 Kings 20:1-6. The Bible says that Hezekiah was at the point of death; but the point of prayer can erase the point of death. Hezekiah made a case for himself. Read the rest of this entry

Praise Point

Acts 16:35-36 “The next morning the city officials sent the police to tell the jailer, “Let those men go!” So, the jailer told Paul, “The city officials have said you and Silas are free to leave. Go in peace.”

After reading today’s anchor scripture, I wrestled with it. God is All-knowing, He created the heavens and the earth, He knew that they were going to release Paul and Silas the following day. Read the rest of this entry
