Give Thanks
Ps.30:11-12 “You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance; You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers. I’m about to burst with song; I can’t keep quiet about you. God, my God, I can’t thank you enough.” (MSG)
The thing that holds people back from God’s best and from intimacy with Christ is actually religion. The nine were Jews, they needed to fulfill the religious rites. But who was it that told them to go and show themselves to the priest in the first place? It was Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Hand-i-Work
Eph.2:10 (VOICE) “For we are the product of His hand, heaven’s poetry etched on lives, created in the Anointed, Jesus, to accomplish the good works God arranged long ago.”
You are a unique, hand-crafted, single edition child of God! There is no one else like you because that is how God wanted to be. He did not make two like you; He makes even identical twins totally different. Read the rest of this entry
Prodigally Yours
Isa.43:4 (VOICE) “Because you are special to Me and I love you, I gladly give up other peoples in exchange for you; They are trivial by comparison to your weighty significance.”
A young man was really excited of the new Lexus twin-engine car he just purchased. The car is so fantastic that when one engine shuts down, the second engine just picks up. So, he took his father for a ride in the car just to show him how fantastic the car was. Read the rest of this entry

1 Cor.7:3 “The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. 4The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other of sexual relations…”
Some wives feel like this is the only Scripture that their husbands can quote verbatim. But the truth is that your body is not your own as our scripture reference today reveals. Check your own Bible and confirm. As a husband or a wife you cannot base intimacy on how you feel. The Bible frowns at it and calls such people defrauders. There is pleasurable intimacy and there is dutiful intimacy. Also in marriage, you cannot approach intimacy seeking your own fulfillment or feelings; you will not get anything that way. When the focus is Read the rest of this entry
His Channels I
Prov.3:6 [MSG] “Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, and everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track.”
When you turn on the radio in your car and tune it, you come across many different stations and many different voices enroute to your desired station. These voices that you hear were not recorded in the radio. Those voices are around you already; your radio just needed to tune in and receive. I am here to tell you that God’s voice is here right now. Read the rest of this entry
Quiet Time
Luke 8:7 [MSG] “Other seed fell in the weeds; the weeds grew with it and strangled it.” [with emphasis]
To tune-in to God’s voice, the first thing you and I must do is, cultivate an open mind. The second thing we must do is, create time to listen. This cannot be over emphasized.
#3. The third thing we must do to tune-in to God’s voice is, eliminate distractions. Sometimes, even when we have blocked out time to be with God, the constant beeping of Read the rest of this entry
Fresh Fire
Lu.3: 2 while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness [with emphasis]
Yesterday, I began by telling you how the Holy Spirit used Luke 3:1-2 to ignite a hunger in me for the voice and the Word of the Lord. And today, I am going to show you details of this Scripture that can easily be missed but are essential to life change. Lu.3:1 “Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, 2 while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness” [with emphasis]. John 10:3-4 “…the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice”
It is so important for you to hear God for yourself. If you cannot hear God for yourself, people will attempt to lead you in their own direction. My advice is, go into your closet and pray. Ask your Father in heaven and He will speak to you about His heart for you. God is not an author of confusion. Read the rest of this entry
