You Don’t Lose
“How foolish can you be? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?” Gal.3:3.
“Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross” Gal.3:1. When we take our eyes off Jesus, when He ceases to be enough for us, we’ll find ourselves going back to the things He delivered us from. The Bible says ye are gods, so let us Read the rest of this entry
Don’t Be Deceived II
“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding” Col.1:9
It is dangerous to depend on visions or revelations to confirm who you are in Christ Jesus. Someone can speak to you about a dream or a vision but it should align with what God is telling you, or what you know God will have you do in accordance with His Word. It shouldn’t mystify or intimidate you. It shouldn’t make you want to add anything to Jesus. Read the rest of this entry
Don’t Be Deceived I
“For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body” Col.2:9
The lack of sufficiency in Christ can be made up of four things: Rationalism, Legalism, Mysticism, or asceticism. Rationalism simply means human wisdom – explain it. Like the blind man, you can’t explain the blessings of God; it comes because the Bible says that For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. You can’t explain God, you can’t explain Read the rest of this entry
Enough!
“For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power” Col.2:9-10 [TLB]
Jesus is enough! What does the word enough mean? The dictionary defines enough to mean: adequate for a want or need. Enough means to be sufficient for a purpose or to satisfy the desire. Enough can be interchanged with sufficient because sufficient also means adequate for a purpose or enough. These words might be interchanged as we go on, so please take note. You Will Be Rewarded!
“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” John 8:4-5
What a question! The question on adultery; Please read John 8:1-11. How can it only be the woman that was caught? Can a woman commit adultery by herself? So where is the man? “They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger” John 8:6. Jesus was probably infuriated Read the rest of this entry
The Kingdom
“About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” Matt.18:1
I was in a session where Dr. Mensah Otabil said, “where two or three are gathered, there would be power struggle”. Even in a house, amongst those in the house, there is power struggle. There ought not to be; but there is. Jesus, in answering the question on greatness says that in the Kingdom, to go up you have to come down. The greatest in the Read the rest of this entry
He Questions
“Herod was delighted at the opportunity to see Jesus… and had been hoping for a long time to see him perform a miracle. He asked Jesus question after question, but Jesus refused to answer” Luke 23:8-9.
For some of us, the questions are not coming from us but rather the questions are directed at us. People are asking us very daft questions. Is it because you didn’t pray enough that you didn’t get the job? – daft question. Was it because you didn’t fast enough that you didn’t get the promotion? – daft question. Is it because your parents have done some terrible things Read the rest of this entry
He Answers
“It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him” John 9:3.
Jesus is The Answer and as The Answer, He was asked a whole lot of questions. I did a little bit of research and I discovered that Jesus was asked about a hundred and ten documented questions. That’s a lot in three years. Thirty-seven out of the one hundred and ten questions were asked by Jesus Himself. Jesus would ask a question and He would answer it Himself. Read the rest of this entry
The Answer
“Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal live” John 4:13-14.
Jesus is not a part of the answer like some people would like us to believe. They say, well we really cannot write the history of man without talking about Jesus. He existed before you but He is just one of the scholars. He influenced modern civilization; He is part of the answer. No! Jesus is not just part of the answer, Jesus is the answer. Jesus does not only have the Read the rest of this entry
The End
“Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” Rev.22:12-13
He is Jesus; He is going to be there at the end of time, believe it or not. Of course you know that every human life has an ending. If Jesus tarries, we’re going to die, no matter how anointed we are. In fact, you may be so anointed that your bones may be raising the dead but you will still die. That should be very humbling for any human being. Everybody is going to Read the rest of this entry
