Secrets, III
Isaiah 22:22 “I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.”
When the heavens open, the first thing to expect is Clear Communication With Heaven. The second thing to expect is Angels Will Work For You. Gen.28:12 “And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.” (KJV, emphasis added). Isaiah 62:6-7 “I’ve posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out, reminding God to remember. They are to give him no peace until he does what he said, until he makes Jerusalem famous as the City of Praise.” (MSG)
Our first lesson from Elijah regarding opening up heavens is the willingness to do what is required, irrespective of the excuses not to. Ready. Set. Pray.
1 Kings 18:36-37 “…Elijah …prayed, “O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, prove today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command. O Lord, answer me! …so these people will know that you, O Lord, are God…”
Elijah’s first prayer was not recorded, it was only the second prayer that was recorded. But James 5 tells us how he prayed the first prayer and 1Kings 18 showed us how he prayed the second prayer. So, if you combine the two, we can see how he prayed both prayers. Read the rest of this entry

Matt.25:6-9 “Then suddenly, in the middle of the night, they were awakened by the shout ‘Get up! The bridegroom is here! Come out and have an encounter with him!’ So all the girls got up and trimmed their lamps. But the foolish ones were running out of oil, so they said to the five wise ones, ‘Share your oil with us, because our lamps are going out!’ ‘We can’t,’ they replied. ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. The Rain

Ps.123:1-3 “I raise my eyes to fix my gaze on You, for Your throne resides in the heavens. Just as the eyes of servants closely watch the hand of their masters, just as a maid carefully observes the slightest gesture of her mistress, in the same way, we look to You, Eternal One, waiting for our God to pour out His mercy upon us.” (Voice).
