Be In Charge
“I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar” Ps.101:3 [emphasis added].
What is the point of eating bread that will turn into gravel in your mouth? Is it worth losing all your teeth? Who knows what is best for your life, you or God? This is the question you have to answer and settle in your heart. And your actions determine your answer to that question. Are you going to be more committed to doing what God says because He knows better? Or will you do what you think is best because it is your body? This is a question we all need to answer. God’s Standard
“Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body” 1 Cor.6:18
God wants us to think clearly about sex. No body knows more about sex than God Himself because He invented it. “God wants you to be pure and to keep clear of all sexual sin…” 1 Thes.4:3 [LB, emphasis added]. During sexual intercourse, there is a spiritual exchange. Let me explain – if Lucy is carrying curses and has sexual intercourse with Lucas, the demons that have access to Lucy now has access to Lucas. Now Lucas is a young business-man with Read the rest of this entry
Purity Is Possible!
“God wants you to be pure and to keep clear of all sexual sin… For God has not called us to be dirty-minded and full of lust but to be holy and clean” 1 Thes.4:3,7 [LB, emphasis added]
God wants us to think clearly about sex. The question is how does one stay pure in a sex-saturated world? How does one stay pure in a world that is bombarded with sexual images, sexual nuances and with intense sexual pressure? I wondered about this myself in the past. So I am going to show you how and I trust that God will empower you to stay pure, in Jesus Name. How to stay pure in a sex-saturated world- four things:

God wants you to be pure and to keep clear of all sexual sin… For God has not called us to be dirty-minded and full of lust but to be holy and clean” 1 Thes.4:3,7 [LB, emphasis added]
Over the next few days, God is going to teach us how to think clearly about sex. Please note that the rating is PG 15. So parents please take note and engage your teenagers daily about the discourse. Your teenagers should know these things because if we [God’s Family] do not teach them, the “world” will try to teach them.
We live in a sex-saturated society. Everything, particularly in the media, has a sexual undertone and it is in our faces Read the rest of this entry
Real Victory
“I don’t have much more time to talk to you, because the ruler of this world approaches. He has no power over me” John 14:30
To neutralize the enemy you must make sure that there is nothing in you that the enemy feeds on and thrives on. One of our greatest challenges as a nation, why we have not been able to deal with terrorism is because among the military they have moles. In the government we have moles. Until the moles are brutally dealt with we may not be able to go anywhere. Jesus says, Read the rest of this entry
How To… IV
“Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete” Rom.12:2 [VOICE]
“…Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world” Col.3:5 [emphasis added]. What is greed? There is a difference between your need and your want; greed is needing what you want. How many cars does a man really need? One but God can bless him with three or five. But a man really only needs one car or maybe two, one for Read the rest of this entry
How To… III
“So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world” Col.3:5
What to “put to death”: “…Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world” Col.3:5 [emphasis added]. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality; in other words do not even flirt, which is what it means to have nothing to do Read the rest of this entry
What’s Your Practice?
“And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” Matt.1:21.
Salvation is all encompassing. Jesus paid the price for the salvation of your soul, the healing of your body, deliverance from oppressive spirits and depression, and deliverance from poverty. Jesus died for deliverance from poverty? Yes He did, and you need to know that. However, even though salvation is all encompassing, the truth Read the rest of this entry
Instructive Armor I
‘Then Saul gave David his own armor – a bronze helmet and a coat of mail. David put it on, strapped on the sword over it, took one step or two to see what it was like, for he had never worn such things before. “I can’t go in these,” he protested…’ 1 Sam.17:36-37
When you look at Goliath’s armor [1Sam.17:5-7], Saul’s armor [1Sa.17:38-39], and David’s armor [1Sam.17:40], it is very instructive to us. The value to us is you cannot go against the enemy and defeat the enemy with a weapon that the enemy knows how to use better than you. You cannot use the same tools that the enemy has mastered to defeat the enemy. You simply cannot! I was listening to Dr. Okey Onuzo’s teaching in God’s Favourite House during the Read the rest of this entry
True Repentance II
Then David confessed to Nathan, “I’ve sinned against God.” Nathan pronounced, “Yes, but that’s not the last word. God forgives your sin. You won’t die for it. But because of your blasphemous behavior, the son born to you will die” 2Sam.12:13-14 [MSG].
You cannot use David as your justification for sexual impurity. David committed adultery once but you are on your tenth round. You are not David; you don’t even have a heart near David’s. You need to pray for one. Sometimes we only find true repentance when God disgraces us publicly and makes us publicly ashamed. It took David over one year to repent. Nathan finally came to meet him and made a public show of his sin. Why did it have to take that long? Read the rest of this entry
