The Intent
1 Cor.12:6-8 “God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge”
The purpose of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is to bless God’s Church, God’s people. It is so that when we gather in fellowship, we can give an accurate Word. Divine Guidance
Isa.30:21 “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.”
As children of God, we have the privilege of divine guidance, the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Since we have this privilege, we ought to make use of it. The Holy Spirit can speak to you and guide you on decisions you intend to make. Hear what God has to say before you decide. However, we should not sit-down expecting thunder to strike before we make decisions. Read the rest of this entry

Charisma I
Eph.4:11-12 “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.”
God shows us clearly in His Word that the job of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers is to equip the body for the work of the ministry. Who is supposed to do the work of the ministry? The body. You are part of the action. The work of the ministry is not meant for some superstar pastors or ministers alone. Read the rest of this entry
Q & A VI
Rom.12:4-6 “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well…”

1 Cor.14:2 (KJV) “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”
Question: Regarding the gifts of other tongues, in the Book of Acts people from other tribes heard real known languages. I wonder why we no longer see this happen in the Church. Read the rest of this entry
Q & A IV
Isa.55:8-9 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
