Take It Back, IV
Psalm 126:3 “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with JOY.” (NIV, emphasis added).
The Lord has done what great things for us, so we focus on the great things that the Lord has done, and we are filled with joy. The opposite is also true; if you do not focus in on the great things the Lord has done for you, you will not be filled with joy. Read the rest of this entry
Take It Back, III
Psalm 51:12 “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”
The second thing to do to get your joy back is to analyze the cause. Lam. 3:40 “Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.” (NIV, emphasis added). Joy Restored
Nehemiah 8:10 “…Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”
We are going to start our devotion today with a survey and the question is, what would you say is the easiest thing for you to lose? For me it used to be my keys until I solved the problem by creating a house for my keys. What is the easiest for thing you to lose? Read the rest of this entry

Psalm 116:6 “So I’ve learned from my experience that God protects the vulnerable. For I was broken and brought low, but he answered me and came to my rescue!” (TPT)

Be Present!
Phillip.2:8 “He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!” (TPT).
To get up and to walk in resurrection power, to be all that we were made to be, to arise and to shine in the brightness that God has made for us, firstly we must know the Living Jesus, that Jesus Christ is alive. Secondly, we must know the King Jesus, that Jesus Christ is King. Read the rest of this entry
Living King
Phil.3:10 “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead…” (emphasis added).
We start today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is that every eyewitness of Jesus’ resurrection held on to their testimony until death. Jesus is Alive. He has risen. Therefore, arise and shine. We are grateful to God that Jesus did not end on the cross, and Jesus did not end in the grave. I would like to tell you a story I like to share every Easter. Read the rest of this entry
Done!
John 19:30 “When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
The sixth Words that Jesus spoke on the cross was, “It is finished!”. Our focus today is not on the taste of what was given to Jesus. What is most important for us is that the quality of the water we give does not determine the quality of the river He releases. Read the rest of this entry
