To Become
Posted by God's Favourite House
John 1:12 (AMPC) “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name”
The Power to become all that God has created you to be is going to rest upon you in this season, in Jesus Name. The power to become a mother will rest on you. A lot of women that have children usually would not say amen to this prayer. Read the rest of this entry →

Joshua 1: 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. 3 I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you…”
God wants you to Step up in leadership. You may not be leading any one currently but you have the potential of leading millions of people. And God is saying to you and I, like He said to Joshua, “Arise! Get up and Step up!” Read the rest of this entry →

The Covenant
Posted by God's Favourite House
Col.1:12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people… 13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.
Jesus purchased our freedom. We have a receipt. We have been transferred. Some people started out in the domain of the kingdom of darkness but because of Jesus’ sacrifice, you are going to be transferred into the Kingdom of light. And when they go back to the kingdom of darkness to search for you, they will be told you have been transferred. They will check your location and they will be told she is not here anymore; she has been transferred. And this is so powerful.

A Child’s Heart

“Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of correction will drive it far from him” Prov.22:15 [NKJV]
You need to accept the fact that people will always talk. And like we said yesterday, it was not any different in Jesus’ time. So just make up your mind to be all that God has created you to be and do not entertain people’s opinions. Sometime last year, the story of the Baltimore mum made headlines. A young man was practically killed by the police in Baltimore and so a riot broke out. The youngsters took to the streets to protest and before long it turned into looting and all sorts of lawless behavior.

For His Glory

“I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.” Matt.25:25 [emphasis added]
The fourth enemy of exploitation is Fear. Please read Matthew 25:14-20. The servant said, “I was afraid…” Fear is a major challenge for a lot of us. A lot of people would have gone very far in life but for fear. They are afraid to take a step or to exploit a situation. God will break the back of that fear in Jesus Name. But if you further examine what this same servant said, this servant that did not take full advantage and was not productive, he said, “Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate”. In other words, he was saying his master is an exploitative person. The master said, “you know I operate the Principle of Exploitation, at least you should have put my money in the bank.” Read the rest of this entry →

Caution?
Posted by God's Favourite House
“During the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, Josiah began to seek the God of his ancestor David. Then in the twelfth year he began to purify Judah and Jerusalem, destroying all the pagan shrines, the Asherah poles, and the carved idols…” 2 Chro.34:3
A time must come when you have to set aside your caution so that you can make progress. So what is the solution to logical caution? The solution to logical caution is actually logic itself. An example in Scripture is the story of the four lepers in Read the rest of this entry →
Your Command
Posted by God's Favourite House
“Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen” Matt.21:21
As a child of God, God has given you authority. Your line of command is clear; your authority is from God. Do you know what it means when you give commands in the Name of Jesus? You are saying through the authority of Christ, I command you. The demon must go, not because you are powerful but because Jesus is powerful. Remember the traffic warden illustration yesterday? Unite, Obey and Align

“But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. “Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! Gen. 11:5-6
God always puts one person in charge and in marriage it is the same thing. I know that God has given us intelligent wives. God bless our wives. But ladies, never marry a man that you do not respect. Do not marry a man that when push comes to shove, even if you do not understand what he is saying, you do not respect him enough to obey and align. Do not marry him or you are headed for Read the rest of this entry →
Unity Of Command
Posted by God's Favourite House
“A kingdom divided against itself will collapse. A home filled with strife and division destroys itself” Mk.3:24-25 [LB].
The Principle of Unity of Command states that for every objective, ensure unity of effort under one responsible commander. Hence, the key to unity of command is one person in charge. There was this series of wars between Rome and Carthage called the Punic wars. In the second Punic war, the Carthaginians invaded Rome. At this time, Rome operated a senate system but it became clear to Read the rest of this entry →
