Valuable
Acts 13:36 “…David… passionately served God’s purpose for his generation… doing God’s will by serving the people of his time… completed the work God set out for him…” (TPT, GW, MSG).
As God lifts you from a lower level to a higher level mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, and educationally note that Not All Addition Leads To Increase And Not All Subtraction Leads to Decrease. Very often, we are afraid to subtract because we think it will lead to decrease, or we are eager to add because we think it will lead to increase. Read the rest of this entry
Energy vs. Time
Colossians 1:29 “This is my work, and I can do it only because Christ’s mighty energy is at work within me.” (LB)
As God lifts you, the first thing you need to know is, Not All Addition Leads to Increase and Not All Subtraction Leads to Decrease. Secondly, God Wants To Promote You In Front Of Your Opposition. Thirdly, You Cannot Be Mighty And Be Petty At The Same Time. Read the rest of this entry
Better Together
Acts 2:46-47 “They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people…”
We Were Made For Community. Naaman was a leprous general, and he remained that way until a little girl in his house gave him the answer to his leprosy (2 Kings 5). None of us is as strong as all of us. None of us is as anointed as all of us. None of us is as wise as all of us. The challenge sometimes with community (as beautiful as it is), Read the rest of this entry
Plug In & Stretch
Acts 4:24 “When they heard the report, all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God: “O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them”
Lifting Has To Do With Stretching and stretching sends an invitation to the greater about your willingness to be lifted. There is a saying in the Western part of Nigeria that, it is the child that stretches his hands that the parent will lift. Read the rest of this entry
Be Watchful
Nehemiah 2:7-8 “…If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct…? And may I have a letter to Asaph, … so he will give me timber… because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.” (NIV)
Nehemiah narrated everything he needed, and the king gave Nehemiah what he needed for the journey, even to the guards he needed for the journey (please read Nehemiah 2:4-9). Nehemiah started the work but some detractors tried to stop him, and they failed. Read the rest of this entry
In Faith
1 John 5:4-5 “You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.” (TPT)

Right People
2 Corinthians 6:14 “Don’t develop partnerships with those who are not followers of Jesus’ teachings. For what real connection can exist between righteousness and rebellion? How can light participate in darkness? (Voice)
Over the past few days, we looked at the reasons why we need to be a part of a community, why we need to join a team, and why we need to be part of a team. However, in choosing a team or in joining a team, there are a couple of things we should look out for. Read the rest of this entry
More Gains
Ecclesiastes 4:10 “If you fall, your friend can help you up. But if you fall without having a friend nearby, you are really in trouble.” (CEV)
It would be a shame for anyone to be in a church family and if that person gets into trouble, he or she has to deal with it all alone. That will be a big shame. God has bought us all into a church family so that we can be a part of a community. Read the rest of this entry
Better Together
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “It’s better to have a partner than go it alone. Share the work, share the wealth. And if one falls down, the other helps. But if there’s no one to help, tough!” (MSG)
Why do we need community? We Need Community To Make Up For Our Weaknesses. We Need Community To Bring Out The Best In Us. We Need Community To Get More Done. Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two can accomplish more than twice as much as one, for the results can be much better.” Read the rest of this entry
The Advantage
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two people are better than one, because they get more done by working together. If one falls down, the other can help him up. But it is bad for the person who is alone and falls, because no one is there to help.”
Your community determines your anointing and influences the heights you can attain. What about the people in community who are not making progress? Well, those are exceptions, but my prayer is that their own lives will also change because of what God is doing with the rest of us in the Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry
