Read!

2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (KJV)

Daniel’s prayer started with God speaking to Daniel and Daniel getting to understand through God’s Word. When you read Daniel 9, you see that Daniel’s prayer started with God. For instance, you may be trusting God to be excellent in your business. Read the rest of this entry

Duologue

Psalm 27:8 “My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

Our third lesson from Daniel about praying in and through a crisis is, I Let God Speak to Me Before I Speak to Him. And this is huge. I pray through a crisis when I let God speak to me before I speak to Him. We often pray in a hurry. Calm down because everything originates from God, everything. Read the rest of this entry

Your Response, IV

Psalm 34:5 “Look to Him and shine, so shame will never contort your faces.” (Voice)

We will kick off today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is that where you look determines what flows to you. Are you looking at the Source of light or are you looking at social media and what is trending? Are you looking at which celebrity is saying what, or what is going on in the news? Cherished

Isaiah 49:15-16 “But the Lord says, “Can a woman forget her baby? Can she forget the child who came from her body? Even if she can forget her children, I cannot forget you. I drew a picture of you on my hand. You are always before my eyes.” (ERV)

Remember That This Will Pass. Remember To Focus On What Is Unchanging. Remember That You Are Not Alone. Remember That God Wants To Use You To Help Others. It could be through giving to help others. It could be through receiving help from others. Read the rest of this entry

Christ’s Body

Isaiah 43:2 When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you” (emphasis added).

This is God’s promise to you. Do you receive it today? No matter what you go through, you must always remember that God is with you. God is emphasizing remembering this season because we forget very easily. I have seen a lot of Christians forget that God is with them. Read the rest of this entry

Concentrate

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (NIV).

What is the difference between repercussion and punishment? Simply put, repercussion means if you sow corn, you will reap corn. Punishment is a different thing entirely. Read the rest of this entry

Action!

1 Chronicles 28:20 “Then he continued, “Be strong and courageous and get to work. Don’t be frightened by the size of the task, for the Lord my God is with you; he will not forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly.” (LB, emphasis added).

Today’s anchor scripture is David’s advice to his son Solomon, and it is God’s Word to us today. Be strong and courageous and get work, do not be frightened by the size of the task. I have had people say to me that it is as if I am not afraid of anything. Some ask, do you even know what it is to be afraid? Read the rest of this entry

Live To Bless

Proverbs 11:24-25 “Generosity brings prosperity, but withholding from charity brings poverty. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favour.” (TPT)

Proverbs 11:25The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” God Will Open Doors For You If You Open Doors For Others. The golden rule is, “Do unto others as much as you want them to do unto you.” Why are some people stingy with compliments? Read the rest of this entry

Know & Understand

1 Kings 3:9&12 “…give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong… I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be” (NIV)

Every time you see a door, you have to make a decision, whether to go through it or not. You have to decide whether to take the handle and open the door or not. There are certain doors that you have walked through, that you should not have walked through. Read the rest of this entry

Doors

Revelation 4:1 “Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”

Doors are a consistent concept in Scripture. In fact, doors are mentioned about four hundred times in the Bible. We have been engaging the concept of doors representing the options of the future that is ahead of us in this decade of destiny, this decade of light. Read the rest of this entry
