Stretching
Psalm 143:6-7 “I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. Come quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.” (NIV)
So, before we go further, we need to remind ourselves that to lift is to raise, elevate, and move from a lower level to a higher level. We pray in the Name of Jesus that God will raise, elevate, and move you from a lower level to a higher level. God will lift you mentally, Read the rest of this entry
Pay Attention!
1 Peter 3:9 “Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.”
This was Joseph speaking to his brothers in Genesis 50:20 “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” Joseph could have been petty, Read the rest of this entry
Save. Invest. Repay.
Proverbs 13:11 “Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.”
If I want to experience financial metamorphosis, I Must Trust God As My Source And Supplier, I Must Keep Good Records, I Must Give The First 10% Back To God, and I Must Save And Invest For The Future. The truth is, “If you cannot save money, Read the rest of this entry
Door Dynamics
John 10:9 “I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security).” (AMP)
Some time ago, we looked at the concept of doors and their significance. When you go through a door, it can be an entrance or an exit. When you go through a door, you are entering somewhere and exiting somewhere else. So, the door is actually a metaphor for so many things- for opportunities, success, etc. Read the rest of this entry

D. D. D.
Deuteronomy 30:19 “Today I am giving you a choice of two ways. And I ask heaven and earth to be witnesses of your choice. You can choose life or death. The first choice will bring a blessing. The other choice will bring a curse. So choose life! Then you and your children will live. (ERV)
We will pick up today’s devotion from Revelation 3:7-8 “I hold the Key of David in my hand. The doors that I unlock and open, no one else can close. And any doors that I shut and lock, no one will ever be able to open. Now I know everything you have done. So look! I am placing before you an open door that no one can shut! I know that you are not very strong, but you’ve kept my word and you’ve been faithful to me.” (CEV, paraphrased with emphasis). Read the rest of this entry
Choices
Haggai 1:7 “Think very carefully about your choices.” (Voice)
Over the next few days, we are going to examine the life choices Moses had to make based on the things he valued which led to the greatness that God had for him. And if we make these choices based on the right values, we too will end up with the greatness that God has for His people. Read the rest of this entry

Eccl.9:11 “I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race…” Since the race is not to the swift, is the Bible saying do not be fast? No, the Bible is saying if you train to be fast, you are the favourite to win the race. Read the rest of this entry
Unique Light
1 Cor.15:41 “Even among the heavenly bodies, there is a different level of brilliance: the sun shines differently than the moon, the moon differently than the stars, and the stars themselves differ in their brightness.” (Voice).
Do you know that the glory of the moon is a reflection of the glory of the sun? However, the sun cannot do what the moon does. So, to say that the moon is useless is to misunderstand the purpose of creation, of glory, of brightness, and of light. Honestly, parents need to get this. Read the rest of this entry
