Set Time!

Rev. 10:6 “He swore an oath in the name of the one who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and everything in them, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it. He said, “There will be no more delay”

Divine Encounter

1 Sam. 1:17-18 “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.” “Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.”

He Will

Mercy & Help

Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

God can help you. In fact, God wants to help you and God wants to be with you. So, we move from, Can God help me? to God can help me, and then because we are convinced that God can help us, we move to, “God must help me”. Read the rest of this entry

True Help

John 11:21 & 40 “Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”

Martha and Mary had this Jesus that they loved, but the question on their minds was, “Can He help us?” They knew Jesus wanted to help, but they were not sure if He could help. Their dilemma was they were not sure if Jesus could help. Read the rest of this entry

Can He?

Ps. 121:1-2I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!”

There is no help apart from the Lord. Anyone or any force that claims they want to help you, if God does not help you, they are wasting your time. David understands this and David says, “…My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Read the rest of this entry

Hebron

Joshua 14:12 “So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me…” (emphasis added)

 

You can be as strong as you are at eighty-five as you are at forty, do you receive that promise? Please read Joshua 14:6-12. When God has a promise for you, what will happen to that promise is up to you, you must decide really. God said to Caleb through Moses, “Hebron is yours – take it”. The word Hebron is from the Hebrew word spelled “Chevron” and it is derived from Hebrew words: “chevar “(meaning to unite, to join); “chever” (association), “chaver” (companion). Behold & Belong

1 Sam.1:10 “Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the Lord.” (emphasis added)

How I feel is affected by what direction I choose to face. We see from today’s scripture reference that Hannah “prayed to the Lord”. The Bible says Hannah was in deep anguish (depressed) and she turned to the Lord. Read the rest of this entry

Behold

Matt.11:28(TLB) Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.”
