Passionate Plea
Daniel 9:2-3 “I found out from studying the writings of the prophets that the Lord had said to Jeremiah, “Jerusalem will lie in ruins for 70 years.” Then, to show my sorrow… I confessed my sins and earnestly prayed to the Lord my God” (CEV)
I have told you several stories of how I saw things that totally changed my life in the scriptures. and till today they still are that powerful. So, what did Daniel read in the book of Jeremiah? This is so beautiful. Contained in Jeremiah’s ‘bestselling book’ , Jeremiah 29:10-12 “This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.” (emphasis added). On My Knees
Psalm 95:6-7 “So come, let us worship: bow before him, on your knees before God, who made us! Oh yes, he’s our God, and we’re the people he pastures, the flock he feeds.” (MSG)
Our final thought yesterday was focused on church history and how many of the early Christians were martyred and killed for being followers of Jesus. No Matter What!
Psalm 50:23 “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”
If you are going to pray in a crisis, you have to learn to honour God, no matter how you feel. Choose to honour God, no matter what. I want you to make that decision today that you will honour God, no matter what. There is a man in scriptures called Job. Job was a rich man; in fact, he was the richest man. Honour God
Daniel 9:4&9 “…I said, “Lord God, you are great, and we honour you. You are faithful to your covenant and show constant love to those who love you and do what you command… You are merciful and forgiving…” (GNT, emphasis added).
You may be in God’s presence today thinking, ‘Is God really good? I know God is good sometimes but is God really good all the time?’ Take a moment, think about it. Is God really good all the time? The fact that you can think about it is evidence of God’s goodness. Read the rest of this entry

The choices you make are so powerful and they determine the life you live. One major way of changing anything is to change the value you place on it. You cannot claim to value your finances if you do not place value on the things God has said you should place value on. Read the rest of this entry
Secrets, I
Deut.28:8-9 “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. “If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, the Lord will establish you…” (NRSV)
The first key to unlock the heavens is You Must Pray. You have to understand that the supernatural only responds when the people of God take their place in prayer. You have to pray. Prayer connects earth to heaven. Read the rest of this entry
His Plan, His People
Neh.2:17-18 “But now I said to them… Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and end this disgrace!” Then I told them about how the gracious hand of God had been on me… They replied at once, “Yes, let’s rebuild the wall…”
It is a miracle and a total privilege to be able to worship God, the Maker of the heavens and the earth. God did not tell Moses to say to Pharaoh ‘let my people go’. That was not what God told Moses. It was more than that. Read the rest of this entry

Strong Point
Hab. 3:17-18 “Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields… yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!”
Some people think that it is only when good things happen that God is happy with them. That theology is imbalanced. Question, what was the sin of Paul and Silas? They were doing God’s work and they were smack in the middle of God’s will. Read the rest of this entry
