Simplify III
Ps. 19:9-10 Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.
Our fourth lesson in simplicity is from Mark 14:43-46 (please read). Jesus was so simple that when the guards came to where the twelve were, they would not have been able to spot Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

1 Peter 1:9-10 “The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls. This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you.”
I used to have what I would describe as a carnal love for cars until God sanctified me. My wife, on the other hand, does not admire cars that much. However, Read the rest of this entry

Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved” (emphasis added).

Jesus Heals
Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 1:35 (TPT) “The next morning, Jesus got up long before daylight, left the house while it was dark, and made his way to a secluded place to give himself to prayer.”

Jesus says we should fast but fasting should be done in humility and secrecy. Please read Luke 18:9-14. Jesus says that when you fast and make a boast of it, when your fasting is based on arrogance, Read the rest of this entry

New Beginnings
Philip. 2:5 “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being…”
