Active Witness, II

Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, a wise person wins friends. And he who wins souls is wise. (NKJV/NLT).

So, how do we experience relational metamorphosis? To experience relational metamorphosis, one, you need to Get Interested In Other People. Two, Do not Be A Chronic Complainer. Three, you need to Learn To Be A Good Listener. Four, you need to Accept People Unconditionally. Read the rest of this entry

Active Witness, I

Mark 5:18-20 “…Let me stay with you.” But Jesus would not allow it… he told the man, “Go home to your family, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been to you.” So the man… began to tell how much Jesus had done for him in the Ten Cities” (GW).

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down, the other can help him up. But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad, because there is no one to help him.” (GNT). We all need people like this. Read the rest of this entry

True Friends

Proverbs 18:24 “There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.”

Proverbs 12:26The righteous choose their friends carefully…” (NIV). God’s Word advises us to avoid having Lazy People, Angry People, Immoral People, and Stingy People as our close friends. The fifth kind of people God says we should not have in our circle are Unbelievers. Read the rest of this entry

Replace & Refocus

Hebrews 2:11 “Jesus, who makes people holy, and those who are made holy are from the same family. So he is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.” (NCV).

Jesus is not ashamed of you! Jesus is not ashamed to call you His sister, His brother! Totally mind blowing! This is God’s truth, right there in His Word. So, you and I must REPLACE Old Lies With God’s Truth. Your father, spouse, or even your children may be ashamed of you. Read the rest of this entry

Reveal It!

Psalm 34:17-18 “Is anyone crying for help? God is listening, ready to rescue you. If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.” (MSG)

One of the things we tend to do when we are going through an emotionally challenging time is to hide our hurt. We put up a ‘good face’ in church, at home, and amongst friends – a façade! When people ask, ‘How are you doing?’, you respond, ‘I am good!’ Meanwhile, you are bleeding and dying inside. Read the rest of this entry

Just Come

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]” (AMPC).

Over the next few days, God is taking us on a journey of emotional metamorphosis. God wants you to have a transformation even in your emotional health. God wants you to have healing in your emotions and be emotionally healthy. Your emotional health is big with God. Read the rest of this entry

Five of Five

3 John 1:2 “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” (NIV)

Do you want a healthy life? Then you need to Eat, and you need to Move.

#3. Care: We need to care for our bodies. Care for your skin. Did you know that soap is a miracle product? Just try it out. It is not about being wealthy or not being wealthy. Read the rest of this entry

Two of Five

John 5:6 “When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” (NIV, emphasis added).

This is the same question God is putting before us today, “…Do you want to get well?” Would you be made whole? In your physical health, do you want to see metamorphosis for good? That is God’s question to you. It is one thing to like the idea of a healthy life, but it is another thing to actually want a healthy life. Read the rest of this entry

Long Road

1 Corinthians 9:25&27 “All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize… I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should…”

How will you feel if you are walking, down the road and you see somebody vandalizing a church? You should feel bad and do everything you possibly can, like call the police, to stop them. Guess what? We vandalize our bodies on a daily when we eat things that we know will destroy our bodies. Read the rest of this entry

The Seven

Matthew 28:19-20 “…wherever you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day….” (TPT)

Imagine you get to heaven, walking on the streets of gold, relishing the scenery, and enjoying the presence of Jehovah. Then somebody walks up to you and says, ‘Thank you! It is because of you that I made it here’. And you are like, ‘I do not even know you…’ and the person says, ‘Yes, you do not know me. Read the rest of this entry
