Know This I

‘Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth’ Phil.2:9-10.

You need to know a couple of things that will be of immense value to you when it comes to warfare.  First and foremost is the supremacy of Jesus. Jesus is the head of all principalities and powers. ‘Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father’ Phil.2:9-11. The three sections Read the rest of this entry

Senses

‘So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image’ 2 Cor.3:18

As human beings, we interact with our natural world primarily through our physical senses and our minds. The five main senses are touch, smell, sight, taste, and sound. You need to understand that it is through your mind, soul, and physical senses that you interact with your physical world. We interact with the supernatural world primarily with our spiritual senses and our soul. So you need to understand also that spiritually you have the use of your five senses – sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. ‘And Elijah said Read the rest of this entry

Focus On The Maker

But Jesus said, “You feed them.” “With what?” they asked. “We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!’ Mark 6:37

The first thing we have to do to prepare for a miracle is focus on what God can do and not how difficult or impossible the problem appears. ‘But Jesus said, “You feed them’; in other words Jesus was saying obviously you cannot feed them in your strength or with the resources you have. Jesus was saying to them look to God to feed them. The truth is you cannot focus on your blessings and your problems at the same time. You can’t focus on God’s promises for you and the devil’s promises for you at the same time. God’s promise is Read the rest of this entry

Let Non Own You But Christ Jesus

‘Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me’ Matt.16:24.

To live free, the fourth thing we must do is let nothing own us but Christ. Neither wealth nor poverty can set you free. Only Jesus can set you free. Bishop Tony says ‘isn’t it morbidly strange that we are born with clenched fists but we die with open hands’. You need to make sure that there is nothing you are holding unto that you cannot give away. Make it a life principle that there is nothing you own that you cannot give away if God says you should give it away – whatever it is. That is the key to your freedom. You need to say to God Read the rest of this entry

Calvary

As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died’ Gal.6:14.

As Christians it would be wrong for us to continue to do the wrong things knowing fully well that it is sin in God’s sight. I am not saying that Christians are not able to do wrong. Christians go through different phases of growth until we are in the image of Christ Jesus. But a Christian cannot continue to do wrong. We have the seed of God. In two different situations I have witnessed a pig in mud Read the rest of this entry

Inherited II

I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars of the sky, and I will give them all these lands. And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed. I will do this because Abraham listened to me…’ Gen.26:4-5

Blessings can also be inherited. Blessings can move from generation to generation. Like in the case of Isaac, there are certain things that our parents have done before God and men that we are enjoying today. ‘I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my requirements, commands, decrees, and instructions’ Gen.26:5. I have no doubt that a lot of the spiritual progress that most of Read the rest of this entry

Inherited I

‘Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes—their own teeth will be set on edge’ Jer.31:30 [NIV]

Blessings and curses are not only provoked, they are also inherited. Blessings and curses can be passed down from one generation to another generation. This is why you find situations where a grandfather is cursed and struggles with it, the father struggles with the same thing, and the son finds himself struggling with the same thing. Such curses, this season as we are waiting on God, would be Read the rest of this entry

The Same

‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever’ Heb.13:8

Jesus the express image of the invisible God rode into Jerusalem. There was so much celebration and people were laying down their cloths. However, way back, an event took place that can be likened to the one that took place in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. There was a time when the Jews went to battle carrying the ark of God. The ark of God signifies the manifest presence of God amongst His people. Yet today Jesus says ‘where two or three are gathered together in My Name there I am in their midst’. They carried the ark to Read the rest of this entry

Resurrection

‘He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying’ Matt.28:6

The beauty of resurrection or Easter as we know it is that through Jesus we can expect that every thing that is dying and ought to be alive in our lives will come back to life. Through Jesus we can expect that everything that is dead already that ought to be living will resurrect. We have the victory through Jesus Christ. Unfortunately for the enemy, he keeps forgetting the power of resurrection and making the same mistake he did with Jesus with us. The enemy sees your marriage has the potential to thrive and he attacks it. Stop Read the rest of this entry

Jesus is Alive

‘…Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead…’ Luke24:5-6

Hallelujah, Jesus is Alive. The beauty of our faith is the fact that the grave is empty.  Every other person that has claimed to be a prophet or a god we know where they are buried today.  We know the tomb of Buddha, Mohamed, and Krishna. We also know the tomb of Jesus but it is empty. He arose just as He Read the rest of this entry
