Pathway

Ps.32:“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”

Mission Field

Who Are You?

2 Kings 5: 2 “…Aramean raiders had invaded the land of Israel, and among their captives was a young girl who had been given to Naaman’s wife as a maid. One day the girl said to her mistress, “I wish my master would go to see the prophet… He would heal him of his leprosy.”

 

The world’s most pressing need after Jesus, is character. An anonymous quote says, “Character is who you are when no one is watching”. And I believe it is really apt.

Lead-That-Sheep!

1 Tim. 5:8 “If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has  denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.” [with emphasis]

No Danger

I used to tell everyone that asked me, that I wanted to be Pharmacist. I chose the profession at random in my quest to quiet all such questions. Close to my final year in secondary school, I got into trouble and I was suspended from school. During the two weeks of staying at home, I hung out with my neighbor who was a software person and software fascinated me. Just seeing what software could accomplish changed my life.

Life Lessons

Yesterday, we learnt that the Pyrrhic victory is a victory that inflicts such a devastating blow on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat. Some victories deal more devastating blows to the victors. So the question is, is that argument really important? Is it more important for you to win the argument and lose your spouse?
