Relax!
Psa.116:7 (VOICE) “O my soul! Return and relax. Come to your true rest, for the Eternal has showered you with His favor.”
I can confidently tell you that God loves me. God does not love me because I preach a good sermon or because someone gives his or her life to Jesus. Yes, He is happy but that is not the reason why He loves me. I know this truth like I know my name –it is engraved into every fibre of my being. So, I do not have or feel any pressure! From Above
Col.3:24 (GN)”… Remember that the Lord will reward you… For Christ is the real Master you serve.” [with emphasis]
When we work for the Lord and work like the Lord then we should expect our reward from the Lord. This is the third step to having a proper perspective. Read the rest of this entry
The Joker
1Cor.2:8 “But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. 9 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared…”
A lot of us played cards for fun growing up and we are familiar with the card called the ‘Joker’. The ‘Joker’ is a game changer. When you pick the ‘joker’, no matter how the game swings, you remain confident. Read the rest of this entry
The Cross
Isa. 53: 5 “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
One of the most misunderstood things in our faith is The Cross. Yet The Cross is one of the most crucial things to our faith. What does The Cross mean to us? Culture has changed how we view and relate with The Cross. Read the rest of this entry
By Faith!
Heb.11:8 “It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going” [with emphasis].
The fifth example of stepping up by faith is Abraham. Most times, God would not show you the total picture, God would not fully tell you how or where. People often come to me asking to know what will happen next in their journey with God. Read the rest of this entry
Step Up Lesson 1
Gen.4:3 “When it was time for the harvest, Cain presented some of his crops as a gift to the Lord. 4 Abel also brought a gift—the best portions of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The Lord accepted Abel and his gift, 5 but he did not accept Cain and his gift…”
Cain must have thought, after all, the cattle on a thousand hills belong to God so He really does not need anything. So Cain gives God a shabby offering and moves on. But the Bible says that God had no respect for Cain and for his offering. Read the rest of this entry
Say Amen!
Isa. 55:12 (NKJV) “For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands”
Everybody can say there is a casting down but you will go out in joy – believe me! You have to receive it. Again I declare over you, everybody can be saying that things are hard but you will be led forth in peace, in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry
Love Thing
Rom. 5: 1 “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us” [with emphasis].
We have already been made right and there is nothing more you can do to be made right. This applies to people who are in Christ. If you are not in Christ then the only thing you can do is to give your life to Jesus Christ and be made right in God’s sight. Read the rest of this entry
Heavenward!
Eph.2:14 “For Christ himself has brought peace to us. …he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us” [with emphasis].
I am so confident that until I am raptured, then rapture will not end. A lot of people question my confidence and I turn them back to God’s Word. My confidence is in the truth that Jesus has come to break down the wall of hostility that separated me from God and now I have peace with God.
But Now
Eph.2:14 “For Christ himself has brought peace to us …in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us”[with emphasis].
It is when we receive this gift from God, which is Jesus Christ, that we experience a three-fold peace. And the three-fold peace is peace with God, peace with self and peace with other people. When people do not fully embrace this gift, they struggle with having peace with God. Read the rest of this entry
