Backed Up
Jer.1:18-19 (MSG) “Stand at attention… I’m making you as impregnable as a castle, Immovable as a steel post, solid as a concrete block wall. You’re a one-man defense system… They’ll fight you, but they won’t even scratch you. I’ll back you up every inch of the way.” God’s Decree.”
God is going to crush every resistance of and every affliction from the enemy in your life, in Jesus Name. When you begin to become, expect resistance – just expect it. Jesus says, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.” Read the rest of this entry
Step Up Lesson 3
Heb.11:1 “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see” [with emphasis].
Faith is not God can prosper me. Faith is knowing that God will prosper you because He already has prospered you. You are blessed already. People will challenge you, “How can you say you are blessed when you are still using ‘legedis benz’ [slang for not having a car]?” Read the rest of this entry
The Tree
“And I, the Son of Man, have come to seek and save those like him who are lost.”’ Lu.19:10
From the story in Luke 19:1-10 [please read], you will see that Zacchaeus and Jesus had one thing in common. Zacchaeus had just come down from a tree and in one week from that day, Jesus was going to be crucified on a tree. So when Jesus moved near that tree, he saw the cross. He saw what He came for and He could not ignore Zacchaeus. How that applies to us is simple. The tree Read the rest of this entry
Step Out
“Elijah said to her… make a little bread for me first then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son… So she did as Elijah said, and… there was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised…” 1 kings 17:13,15-16.
It is one thing to believe in the supernatural, it is another thing to be open to the supernatural. To be open to the supernatural, you must know two things.
#1. Miracles happen outside of your comfort zone. The first thing you have to understand is that the miraculous happens outside of your comfort zone. Miracles do not happen in your comfort zone. Imagine your Read the rest of this entry
Just Stand
“Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.” Then Elijah shouted, “Hurry to Ahab and tell him, ‘Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don’t hurry, the rain will stop you!” 1 Kings 18:44
I am able to live with the fact that I have tried something and it did not work than not try it and regret that if I had tried, maybe it would have worked. This is the mantra that I live by. Big deal if I tried and it did not work; I will just try another thing. But a lot of people are laden with regrets about the things they should have done but did not do. But that is going to Read the rest of this entry
Keep Standing!
“I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely” Ps.63:8
Horatio G. Spafford was a prominent American lawyer. Not only was he tithing faithfully, he was supporting D. L. Moody’s ministry, building orphanages, and doing so many good things. But the Great Fire of Chicago cancelled most of his wealth because he was also into real estate. Two years later, he decided that his family should go on a vacation. And as his wife and their four daughters were on their way to Europe on a ship, the ship capsized leaving the wife as the sole survivor. And she sent a telegram to Spafford with the words, “Saved alone. All is lost. What shall Read the rest of this entry
No Limit!
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction” Prov.1:7 [NKJV]
Did the person that came first in your class have two heads? Are you familiar with this statement? A lot of us heard it repeatedly when we were growing up, especially relating to academic performance. The statement usually is accompanied with some strokes of the cane. Some people may say that it is a little bit extreme. Well, I do not think so because it drilled into me that no one is better than me. You are as good as you want to be. Where you are today is where you want to be. It is a choice you have made. But the question is, do you want to remain there or will you Read the rest of this entry
